EMERGENCY CASE:

KABANG was rushed to Pet Central Animal Clinic and Petshop due to inappetence and lethargy for a week, abnormal size of abdomen and swelling of the forelimbs. Upon thorough examination and definitive diagnosis, it was found out that she has PYOMETRA.

PYOMETRA in dogs/cats is an infection in the uterus with presence of pus/bacteria causing a life threatening case if not immediately diagnosed and treated.

Our passionate vets DocRio and DocShiela conducted the best option for this case which is the ovariohysterectomy via surgical procedure.
