Bruce’s Second Chance 🏡✨

Bruce was discovered in the basement parking - skinny, dirty, scared, and hungry. He spent his days hiding under cars, too afraid to be seen 😿. But with time, patience, and kindness, he began to trust the volunteers who fed him. He slowly realized that not all humans were bad, despite the trauma he experienced 🥹.

After his neuter, Bruce formed a deep bond with Mia, another basement cat. The two became inseparable. But in November last year, Mia disappeared. 💔 Despite an extensive search, she was never found. Bruce was devastated 🥹. He became withdrawn, lost his appetite, and the light in his eyes dimmed 😿. A vet check confirmed what we already knew—he wasn’t physically ill, but he was suffering from severe depression 😞.

To make things worse, some residents unfairly blamed Bruce for messes in the basement, even though he always used the litter box. Just when it seemed like life was getting harder for him, fate intervened 🥹…

✨ Enter Ms. KD, thanks to Cammy V’s introduction 🙏.

When she heard Bruce’s heartbreaking story, she knew she had to adopt him. In her own words:

🗣 “I’ve been thinking of adopting another cat for a while now. When I met Bruce and heard his story of hardship, strength and resilience, I knew I had to take care of him and give him a second chance at living his best life. Bruce has gone from the basement to a safe space filled with love, where he truly belongs. He was the missing piece that makes our home feel complete.”

From rags to riches, from lost to loved—Bruce is one lucky boy. 💙🐾 His story is proof that every cat deserves a chance, and that love can heal even the deepest wounds 😭.

Smokey’s Happy Ever After! 🥳

Smokey has been adopted, and we couldn’t be happier for him! 💙 Now named Basqee, he has found his loving fur-ever home with Cammy V 💕. Thank you for giving him the life he truly deserves! 🏡✨

From a scared, sick kitten to a cherished family member, Basqee’s journey is proof that love heals. A huge thank you to his incredible foster and dedicated Trion Community Cat Volunteer, Mikki, who tirelessly cared for him—nursing him back to health, taking him to countless vet visits, and helping him learn to trust again. Without her unwavering love and dedication, he wouldn’t have made it this far 🥹.

🐾 Update on Paddy

Paddy is still struggling, and it’s heartbreaking to see what he is going through 💔. His gums remain severely inflamed, and every time he tries to eat, he gags and tumbles 🥹. He wants so badly to eat, but the pain makes it almost impossible. He has lost so much weight that you can feel his bones when you touch him 😭.

We’ve scheduled a follow-up appointment at Beterinaryo sa Fort Animal Clinic this Friday with the same vet who previously attended to him.

Through it all, his dedicated foster volunteers are doing everything they can to comfort and care for him. Despite the pain, Paddy remains the sweetest lap boy, finding solace in being held ☺️. But what truly breaks our hearts is how he buries his head in embarrassment, as if ashamed of his condition 😭.

Let’s keep hoping and praying for Paddy as he fights through this. He needs all the love and support we can give. 🙏💖

🐾 Update on Paddy ❤️

Paddy is still struggling to eat and often gags due to the pain from the inflammation of his mouth 🥹. However, the steroid injection is slowly taking effect, and last night, he managed to eat some baked galunggong brought by a kind volunteer, a small but heartwarming victory ☺️. Even more encouraging, he started grooming himself last night, a promising sign that he's feeling a little better. Seeing familiar faces also lifts his spirits, giving him the encouragement he needs to keep fighting 💕.

His recovery is still a long journey, and once he’s strong enough, the next big step will be a full dental extraction 😭 to free him from pain for good.

Please continue to keep Paddy in your thoughts and prayers, sending him strength and healing ❤️‍🩹. If you’d like to help with his medical care and recovery, donations are truly appreciated 🙏.

𝐇𝐞𝐥𝐩 𝐏𝐚𝐝𝐝𝐲 𝐒𝐦𝐢𝐥𝐞 𝐀𝐠𝐚𝐢𝐧 🐾

Paddy is one of the beloved Trion community cats, a familiar and endearing presence outside Swell Sweets Cake Lab and the Laundromat, often surrounded by his furriends Luna, Simba, Gray, and Panda 😸.

Once a fearless alpha cat, Paddy was known for patrolling the Trion perimeter and warding off newcomers with unmatched confidence. After being neutered, he transformed into the sweetest and most affectionate boy. Paddy loves chatting with anyone who gives him attention. His charming personality, coupled with his handsome looks, has made him a favorite, especially among the ladies who adore giving him pets 😻.

Sadly, Paddy hasn’t been himself lately. He started drooling excessively and hiding in the bushes—a clear sign he’s in pain 🥹. Despite multiple vet visits and medication, his condition hasn’t improved. Recently, we noticed blood in his drool, prompting an emergency trip to Beterinaryo sa Fort Animal Clinic last Sunday 😞.

The diagnosis was devastating: 𝙋𝙖𝙙𝙙𝙮 𝙝𝙖𝙨 𝙘𝙝𝙧𝙤𝙣𝙞𝙘 𝙜𝙞𝙣𝙜𝙞𝙫𝙤𝙨𝙩𝙤𝙢𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙨 (𝙨𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙚 𝙞𝙣𝙛𝙡𝙖𝙢𝙢𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙤𝙛 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙢𝙤𝙪𝙩𝙝), 𝙞𝙨 𝙁𝙄𝙑-𝙥𝙤𝙨𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙫𝙚, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙝𝙖𝙨 𝙩𝙚𝙨𝙩𝙚𝙙 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙁𝘾𝙊𝙑. He’s also anemic 😭. While Paddy is being temporarily fostered and receiving medication and close monitoring, the vet has confirmed that a full dental extraction will be necessary once his inflammation subsides to give him a chance at a pain-free life 🥹.

Due to his condition, Paddy cannot return to living outdoors, as it would only worsen his health. He will also be put up for adoption once he recovers.

We need your help to raise funds for Paddy’s medical treatment, ongoing care, and the imminent full teeth extraction 🙏. Paddy deserves a chance to live a healthy, happy life free of pain, surrounded by love and care 💕.

Smokey is one of three mixed-breed siblings (Puspin + Persian) who are searching for their FURever homes. This handsome 7-month-old boy is fully vaccinated, dewormed, and currently being fostered by a kind volunteer ☺️.

Smokey’s story began when he was discovered in the Mckinley Parkway landscape with his siblings, Phoebe and Perry. Somehow, he ended up at the basement parking, where he was found limping, hungry, and lost, separated from his siblings 🥹.

Thanks to the many trips to the vet and the care of his foster, he has transformed from a skinny, sickly, scared cat into a vibrant, healthy, and loving companion ☺️.

Smokey is now full of energy, happiness, and affection. He adores being around humans and is happiest when sitting on a lap, purring away contentedly 💕. His unique off-white fur with beige spots and his stunning blue eyes make him one-of-a-kind.

This sweet boy will be neutered soon and is ready to start the next chapter of his life in a safe, loving forever home. Smokey also gets along well with other cats, making him a perfect addition to a multi-cat household.

🌟 Meet Sam: A Sweet Cat Ready for a New Beginning

We’re starting off our Trion Cat Adoptables with Sam, a gentle and reserved cat who loves attention and endless pets ☺️. Her story began in 2022 when she was first discovered and made the area outside Ralph’s her safe spot. Sam quickly became a familiar face to many residents, receiving love and affection from staff and passersby alike 💕.

Last Christmas 2023, a kind resident gifted Sam a personalized nametag which she proudly wore. Sadly, just a few days later, it went missing from her neck, and despite our efforts, we never found it 🥹.

Her favorite human was Kuya Eugene from Patisserie Kyo, who showered her with care and kindness. But when Kuya Eugene moved to the province, Sam was heartbroken 💔. She searched for him tirelessly, even crossing busy streets to Arya, hoping to find him again.

For her safety, Sam now resides in the cat house. While she’s made a friend in Conan, she mostly keeps to herself and doesn’t interact much with the other cats. Sam feels lonely and longs for human companionship 😞.

With her sweet personality and the most endearing meow, she’s sure to melt your heart.

The Trion Community Cats Group strongly condemns kitten dumping in all its forms. This act is not only inhumane but also illegal under RA 8485 (The Animal Welfare Act of the Philippines).

Abandoning kittens in unfamiliar surroundings is a death sentence, and RELOCATING them again only worsens their chances of survival, subjecting them to even greater stress and danger.

Here’s why:

💔 Unimaginable Risks:
Starvation, dehydration, disease, traffic accidents, and predators leave dumped kittens with little chance of survival.

💔 Emotional and Physical Trauma:
Abandoned kittens face fear, loneliness, and struggle to adapt to a dangerous and unfamiliar environment.

💔 Uncontrolled Overpopulation:
Abandoned kittens who survive often grow up unspayed or unneutered, contributing to the cycle of stray overpopulation.

2024 was a year of resilience, joy, and togetherness for the Trion Cats community.

This year was filled with heartwarming moments, such as Lara, one of our OG cats finding her furever home 🏠 and Conan’s 🐈 remarkable return after being missing for 14 days. Simba and Raven overcoming major dental challenges, while Lily dazzled us with her high jumps, earning the title of Cathlete of the Year at the Purrlympics🥇. We also celebrated the adoptions of Daisy, Connor, and Raven, bringing even more joyful endings to the stories of our cherished community cats 💕.

However, we also faced deep losses. Billy, Princess and Mia, three cherished Trion cats, went missing and were never found 😿. Cheeto faced a challenging time this year with a UTI health scare. Despite these hurdles, he showed up with a strong determination to overcome his health issues 💪. We mourned Kobi, who touched hearts after seeking shelter during a typhoon inside Uncle John’s, and the passing of our beloved patriarch, Big Boy, whose loss was felt deeply by all, volunteers and cats 💔.

Amid these ups and downs we celebrated significant milestones. The Trion Towers Community Cats Group marked its 3rd anniversary 🥳 showcasing three years of co-existence and compassion. We also gained influential supporters and shared Our Story and Our Mission, highlighting the dedication of the incredible individuals who support us ☺️.

We closed the year on a joyful note with the 28 Cats of Christmas 🎄 celebrating the lives of our Community Cats, the kindness of our community, and the hope of finding homes 🏠 for our Adoptables.
