I'm still breeding dogs but I'm not that active na unlike 4 years ago. Ngayon, magtake okay lang, hindi magtake okay lang rin at madalas pinalipas ko nalang din ang heat.
Maybe some of my facebook friends, especially breeders notice na hindi na ako nagpopost ng mga dogs or nagproproduce ng puppies especially SHIH TZU.
Shih tzu breed is really my favorite hehe. Nakakachallenge sya iimprove in terms of face, size, color and structure.
I've been in the kennel/breeding industry since I was thirteen. I still have many things to learn. I'm still far from what we call an "expert" but looking back from the 13 years I've spent in studying, breeding and improving the breed, spending a huge amount of money to upgrade lines and faces just to be able to produce QUALITY litters/ Shih tzu. It really dissapoints me whenever I get an offer from low ballers.
I miss those times na meron pang mga buyer na halos "name your price" na just to be able to get your litter or line.
I hope we can still bring back the time na tayo ang nagpepresyo based sa quality ng mga produce natin (pero I think impossible na sa dami ng backyard breeder ngayon 🥲) Sana don't breed just for the sake of income. I understand that kennel is still a business pero sana breed to improve pa din, wag lang paanak ng paanak. I guess that's one of the reasons bakit bumagsak yung kennel industry.
Basta sakin, LOW BALLERS WILL NOT BE ENTERTAINED. I KNOW WHAT I HAVE.
