This year, the staff of CityVets - Taguig brings you a 3D Star Parol with the image of our beloved pets โ our cats and dogs. Using purely recyclable materials from our suppliers ( box from bottled meds, spot on, tick & flea, heartworm preventives, vials and rotors.), collective efforts of each and every staff member of the clinic and the inspiration from our patients and clients. Our parol sports the color of our clinic logo โ the green cat and blue dog. The color used for the pinkish red star is from the extracted rolled crepe paper and left over glitters for the sparkles. Boxes from our suppliers were used as the base of the star. Lights are from the Christmas light used in the clinic for several years now. Sustainability? Yes! Cost? Zero!
May our parol brings light and warmth on your holidays and inspires everyone to be sustainable even in our Christmas decoration. Merry Christmas, Everypawdy! โจ

The frame of our Christmas tree was made from 6 starting ROLLED PAMPHLETS & USED BONDPAPERS, folded and twisted above each other to create a spiral cone. Even with the fragility of the paper, we were able to create a sturdy frame that can last for a long time. It looks like a flattened DNA ๐งฌ strand, representing the staff from the veterinary field, clients and the patients.
Expired reagents & Jobus dye were the main medium for the colors to give create the christmas vibes. Christmas in the Philippines is colorful, and so is our tree!
Even with our individual differences, we were able to incorporate all our ideas in our entry. Long hours were allotted and lots of patients were given. The staff of CV Taguig formed a special bond while creating our craft made from scratch, resulting to a beautiful and colorful masterpiece.
