I was never a cat person until this cat.

Having him in my life, made me a better dog trainer. He taught me to take my patience to the next level. Dog training times are about 3-5 minutes when you start. With my german shepherd , Ali. I had a minimum 30 min working time.

With a cat, you are lucky at a minute. But what a great minute

Ep 00 Scent Detection looking for anpao started out with this birthday boy, President Franklin Roosevelt the cocker spaniel This happy good boi had the unfortunate timing of being born during the pandemic . His mom trained him on detection to look for food as part to keep his mind and body active during lockdown. I based my classes on how easy he picked it up.

A few classes later , I realised I had f@!k'd up. It was alot more challenging than he made it looked !

My dear Balto ❤️❤️🙃 you had zero object permanance and crippling separation anxiety but confident enough to steal beef jerkey from a human's mouth . Also quite surprising, you always came back to me off leash .. I mean not imediately ..but you always did despite every part of your bones wanted to chase geese more. I miss you and our walks in Washington..❤️
