BEWARE ‼️

Our furry friend here was brought to the clinic due to some unfortunate circumstances.

A rubber band was tied to his testicular area in order to “prevent pregnancy” when mating to their other female dog.

Upon examination, we need to sedate him in order for us to remove the rubber band. The procedure went well and we gave him the proper medications he needed.

Situations such as this is against our pets' Animal Welfare Rights, that we must always abide. The owner understands the consequences of their actions and we gave them the information they need to prevent and stop same circumstances from happening to them, as well as other pet owners.

The brave momma dog who successfully had her puppies in C-section. She's now fully recovered from her surgery and her little babies are already scheduled for their 1st deworming. Congrats, Momma Dog! 🤗

Our pawsome friend who just recovered from blood infection and is now looking eager to make up for his lost appetite.

𝗧𝗼𝗮𝗱 𝗽𝗼𝗶𝘀𝗼𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 occurs when a dog is exposed to toxins secreted by certain species of toads.

Clinical signs include,
* hypersalivation
* vomiting
* lethargy
* Ataxia
* cyanosis
* dyspnea
* cardiac arrhythmias
* convulsions or coma

In this case, our friend 𝗣𝗼𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗲, have shown signs such as lethargy, cyanosis and ataxia. With the immediate response of the fur parents, we luckily helped Poppie to recover and is now back to his happy and energetic state.

Friendly reminder! ✨

It is very helpful to bring your pets immediately to the clinic if any of the signs were observed. Immediate response is a must with this kind of case.

𝗪𝗮𝘁𝗰𝗵 𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗱𝗶𝘀𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗲❗

𝐋𝐞𝐩𝐭𝐨𝐬𝐩𝐢𝐫𝐨𝐬𝐢𝐬 has been observed to be responsive to antibiotics and complete recovery is possible, however, some dogs that survive may be left with chronic kidney or liver disease. Meanwhile, some dogs may not survive if the infection has resulted in significant organ damage or severely afflicted the ability of blood to form clots.

So if the said symptoms are observed, immediately consult your trusted Veterinarian.

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗸𝗻𝗼𝘄 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗚𝗶𝗮𝗿𝗱𝗶𝗮𝘀𝗶𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗱𝗼𝗴𝘀‼️

𝗚𝗶𝗮𝗿𝗱𝗶𝗮𝘀𝗶𝘀 in dogs can lead to weight loss, chronic intermittent diarrhea, and fatty stool. The stool may range from soft to watery, often has a greenish tinge to it, and occasionally contains blood. Infected dogs tend to have excess mucus in the f***s. Vomiting may occur in some cases that can lead to dehydration.

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝘂𝘀𝘂𝗮𝗹 𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻𝘀 𝗮𝗿𝗲,
* Diarrhea (soft to watery and sometimes contains blood)
* Abdominal discomfort
* Fever
* Vomiting in some cases
* Dehydration and weight loss if severe

Luckily, our furry friend named 𝗠𝘂𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗲 is still energetic and full of appetite. Muchie’s furparents observed blood in her stool and immediately brought her to the clinic. Proper test was conducted and the right medications were given.

Do not hesitate to bring your pets to the nearest Veterinary Clinic if you happen to observe the said clinical signs.

And yes, it is treatable especially if the signs were addressed immediately.

It was Rima’s first time and her fur parents were worried. The good thing is they brought her immediately to the clinic and we provided her the whelping assistance she needed.

She visited the clinic for her annual vaccinations and regular deworming schedule. Though she surely wasn't expecting a visit to her Vet 🤭, she still handled it pawsomely and took the injections like a champ.

𝗘𝘆𝗲 𝗲𝗻𝘂𝗰𝗹𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 or the surgical removal of the eye is usually done for conditions in which the eye has been chronically painful, and especially if it no longer functions visually due to severe damage.

Our little friend here named 𝗔𝗿𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗿 has undergone eye enucleation due to severely damaged eye.

He truly is such a brave doggo! With proper medications given, we are expecting his fast recovery.
