Hello I’m Furpy and I just had my grooming session here. you know, i had a little matting on my feet and up a little to my legs. but the friendly groomer managed not to shave my precious furr. he applied shampoo then conditioner on my body, massaged the matting slowy so the furr will soften. he then blower dry me and starting dematting. the dematting too long since the groomer doesn’t want me to feel pain then he trimed my furr and walah!

Formalized in 2020, International Chihuahua Appreciation Day was established for dog lovers to appreciate the smallest dog breed in the world – the chihuahua.

It was created by fitness advocate and former Miss British Columbia Nadia Alterio who, in 2020, announced on her blog that May 14 would be International Chihuahua Appreciation Day, which many took a liking to. She chose the date to honor the birthday of her chihuahua named Teka.

The Chihuahua is believed to have originated from the Techichi, a small dog that was kept by the Toltec people of Mexico in the 9th Century. The breed got its name from the Mexican state Chihuahua, and the breed was first registered by the American Kennel Association in 1904. 2024 marks the 120th year since the breed was recognized.
