ATI Bicol is looking for OA Interns and farm partners in Region 5 for the Youth Scholarship Grant on Organic Farming.
The Youth Scholarship Grant on Organic Agriculture is a specialized internship program designed to instill and cultivate an appreciation for organic agriculture (OA). This 21-month program immerses youth in the "life of a farmer" and the principles of organic farming.
The internship program comprises:
• Nine months of schooling and on-site training with farm partners.
• One year of hands-on training, including the practice and implementation of a proposed organic enterprise.
Interested applicants for farm partners and trainees may submit their letters of intent to Ms. Elsa A. Parot, Training Center Superintendent II/Center Director. Applications can be submitted in person or via email.
