SAME, DOGGO, SAME 🤣

A furmom tickled the funny bone of netizens after sharing her dog’s comical reaction to a syringe, moments before her CBC test!

In the post sharing the CBC experience, the shocked face of the dog named Thali garnered about 15,000 reactions and 10,000 shares!

Sonia Geli, the uploader and founder of the Davao Animal Rescue Volunteers Group, has been rescuing dogs since 2009 and Thali was one of them.

“Dito sa community namin, nakikita ko kasi nasa basketball court na siya palagi nakatira. Kinuha ko na siya kasi [pinagkaisahan] na siya ng mga male stray dogs during her first heat or first menstruation. Dinala ko kaagad siya sa vet, pina-check, pinabakunahan, at pina-ligate,” Geli told The Philippine STAR.

“Ang ginagawa ko kasi ’pag makakita ako ng stray dog sa kalsada around Davao City, i-rescue ko ang dog, dalhin sa vet clinic, pabakunahan, ipakapon, ipa-ligate then kung okay na or healthy na ang dog that’s the time ipa adopt, hanapan ko ng responsible adopter,” she added.

However, Geli’s recent rescue accidentally acquired and passed on blood parasites to the others including Thali, which made the CBC necessary.

Geli said Thali has been living in her home and temporary animal shelter for four years. A few medications have been prescribed by doctors because of Thali’s low platelet count.

Despite the situation, Geli said Thali has always had animated, cute, and jumpy reactions to little things that scared her. It definitely doesn’t come as a shock that she warmed the hearts thousands of people.

“Every time makakita ng syringe at kung papaliguan siya nakakatawa mukha niya. Nagpapaamo para hindi na ituloy. Takot din kasi sya sa tubig. Pero ’pag once mabasa na siya hindi na sya mag resist,” Geli said. (Photo courtesy of Sonia Geli)
