A FARM THAT ADVOCATES ORGANIC FARMING METHODS FOR A BRIGHTER FUTURE.
The farm is situated in a 6.6 hectare land in Sitio Minahan, Mataas na Lupa, Taysan, Batangas. It is owned and managed by Mr. Paul and Luz Morfe. They have two lovely kids, Sofia Alexa and Sarah Andrea.
We are engaged in providing livestock breeding farm service that involves nurturing and breeding high quality and superior genetic of livestock. We have farm technicians that are trained to take care of these animals and breed them. In our farm breeding service, we take care of our partners’ livestock by providing their animals quality food, housing and breeding facilities, veterinarian and other things necessary for proper health care.
Moreover, the farm is also engaged in the planting and cultivation of high value crops and production of other agricultural farm products. Aside from goats, sheep and cattle, we are also starting to add more farm animals and make use of their manure as an effective organic fertilizer for our crops. Other agricultural ventures that are next in line are aquaculture, hydroponics, mushroom farming, honey production, meat processing, vermicomposting, educational farming and other technological innovations in agriculture. We are also starting to promote agri-tourism as a new frontier in Taysan agriculture.
OUR GOALS
One of our goals is to revive the Philippine agricultural sector by showing to the young people that there is a future and hope in farming. It may look laborious and muddy but it is also engaging and financially rewarding. At present, most of our employees are millennials, young farmers who believe there is a future in agriculture. We also take part in the development of the community by providing local employment and livelihood programs to the people.
More than business, our personal purpose of venturing into this field is to cater healthy food alternatives by providing a choice of healthy food to the community. Known to our friends and family, our eldest child has autism and health issues. Although there are organic foods available in the market, they are very expensive and the supply is not much and you are not really sure if they are of the highest quality. Then, we learned about the food supply and the toxins our children are exposed to. Today, many children all over the world are affected by autism, other developmental disorders and health issues. We have faith that our children will get better and stay well if we can provide healthy food alternatives to them by having our own organically grown plants and organically raised animals in the farm.
