Update po sa dog sa Larion, kakatawag ko lang po sa contact person natin doon at nanghihingi po ako ng update, ang sabi niya po hindi pa raw po umuuwi iyong dog. Babalik po sa Brgy hall para i-verify po iyong info.

Nahanap na po namin si Larion/Capatan dog. Humingi po kami ng tulong sa Brgy officials ng Capatan pero sadly hindi nila nakuha si doggy kasi tumakbo siya. Nag-iwan kami ng contact sa kanila and they will try mamaya na makuha iyong dog. Will ask for an update mamaya.

Ito po ang update sa baby cat from Caritan Sur na nireport sa atin noong isang araw. We will still remain vigilant po at gagawa ng askyon kung may abuse na nangyayari.

Update po sa dog sa Carig Sur. May nakapagsabi po na nasagasaan siya at namatay na. Iyong animal lover po na nagpapakain sa kaniya ang nagsabi, tinanong ni raw sa owner kung nasaan na iyong dog pero iyon ang binalita sa kaniya. :((

📝WHAT IS CANINE PARVOVIRUS (CPV)?

Canine parvovirus is a highly contagious virus that commonly causes GI disease in young, unvaccinated dogs. Presenting signs include anorexia, lethargy, vomiting, and diarrhea, which is often hemorrhagic.

📝HOW TO DIAGNOSE CPV?

Diagnosis is typically based on history, physical examination findings, and f***l antigen testing.

📝HOW IS CPV TRANSMITTED?

Canine Parvovirus in dogs (CPV-2) is transmitted by direct contact and contact with contaminated f***s, environments, or people. CPV-2 is one of the most resistant viruses to infect dogs and can remain viable in the environment for extended periods of time. The virus spreads through contaminated surfaces, food and water bowls, collars, leashes, and the hands and clothing of people who touch a CPV-2–infected dog.

📝WHAT IS THE TREATMENT FOR CPV?

Treatment is largely supportive on an inpatient or outpatient basis because specific therapies are not available.
