Residents of Barangay Camansi, Kabankalan City were complaining on the daily extortion of food supplies by the Communist NPA terrorists who introduced themselves as members of NPA involved in the series of encounters in Carabalan, Himamaylan City last October 2022. This prompted them to report the presence of C**s to 94IB and 47IB.

BUHAY NA ALAMAT

Bilang lamang ang mga nakatanggap ng prestihiyosong Medal of Valor nang buhay dahil sa kalakip na sakripisyong hinihingi ng parangal na ito.

Isa si Lieutenant General Bartolome Vicente O. Bacarro sa mga buhay na patunay sa kadakilaan ng sundalong Pilipino sa pagtatanggol ng bayan. Sugatan at tila walang pag-asa ang sitwasyong kinaharap ng noo’y baguhan pa lamang na officer na si 2nd Lieutenant Bacarro at kanyang tropang magiting na lumaban sa tinatayang 150 miyembro ng NPA sa Maconacon, Isabela.

Bagama’t nakapagtamo ng nakamamatay na tama ng bala sa kanyang binti, di alintana ang umuulang bala ay inakyat ni 2LT Baccaro ang bakod na naghihiwalay sa kanila sa kalaban, sumakay sa isang truck at ibinangga sa kuta ng NPA na naging daan para sa kanilang tagumpay.

Dahil sa katapangan ng tenyente ay nailigtas ang isang buong bayan mula sa kamay ng teroristang grupong NPA.

Ngayong Araw ng mga Bayani, ating alalahanin ang mga sakripisyo ng ating mga ninuno upang makamit ang kalayaang ating tinatamasa sa kasalukuyang panahon.
