This , our hearts weigh heavy with the somber truth of Pakistan's history with these majestic creatures. Today, we ask you to reflect. For years, elephants like Suzi, Noor Jehan, Saheli, Anarkali and Kaavan faced neglect within the confines of zoos. Their stories serve as painful reminders of the complex needs of these intelligent beings.

Suzi's passing at Lahore Zoo, followed by Noor Jehan's tragic loss at , underscore the urgent need for change. Now, the distressing news of Madhubala, Sonia, and Malika's deteriorating health paints a dire picture. These creatures, symbolic of strength and grace, deserve proper care and comfort.

The time for action is now. We implore authorities to prioritize the well-being of these elephants. Adequate treatment and care should be provided to them immediately. If the current facilities cannot meet their needs, then translocation to a suitable environment becomes imperative.

Let's collectively advocate for change and remember that is not just a day of celebration, but also a day of reflection and a call for justice. Let these gentle giants live the life they deserve, surrounded by care and compassion.
