Rani , very friendly and affectionate baby, got spayed at the age of around 4 years. Her parents were super concerned about her surgery. But Rani did a great job , recovered in a short period of time. 🥰

📢 This is for all pet owners especially those living on floors above ground.
⚠️ Never ever offer your pet water or food , after they fell down from the roof or upper floors , before checking their mouth.
Serug pet clinic team received this patient in emergency🆘. Cat fell from the 5th floor accidentally. The owner took a very wise step to bring her straight to vet which is advisable in such a cases. Physical Examination was done by our expert vets. Hard and soft palate were broken. No other bone was blocked Owner didnt try to offer her to feed , Luckily 🤞. As There are high chances of aspiration of water or food to respiratory tract. Hard palate is the partition between the nasal and oral cavity. If its broken u shouldn't feed them orally. 👀
😷 Surgery was done under Gas Anaesthesia. Palate was wide open so "Sliding bipedicle technique " was used to close the space. Sutures were removed after appropriate time.
🐱 Cat is eating and living happily.

CAT was spayed successfully under "GAS ANAESTHESIA"⚕️😷👨‍⚕️
She was having "HYDROMETRA" (a clear fluid inside the uterus) , that can lead to many other uterine diseases including Pyometra.
The only permanent solution to this issue is SPAYING.💯

The owners were referred to Serug pet clinic with the complain of Urine marking by their tom , Though he was neutered about a year ago by some other vet. The cause of the issue was found out between the legs subcutaneously "MONORCHID testicle" in the groin area🙄.
Testicle was removed successfully surgically under GAS ANESTHESIA. Tom is recovered and living happily 🐈.

Feesing tube ingestion is Parrot 🦜
Its always considered as emergancy when your bird simply ingest the feeding tube.
The sooner to reach vet, the lesser your bird suffer.
This parrot was brought with an hour of tube ingestion. Manually the tube was pushed toward oral cavity and using narrow instrument the tube was removed gently avoiding damage to the trachea and food pipe.
Kindly try to handle your hand feeding bird very conciously to avoid such accidents.

❓ WHAT TO DO WHEN U FIND OUT THAT YOUR TOM (male cat) IS HAVING ONE TESTICLE (MONORCHID)?

Well the best possible solution is "NEUTERING or CASTRATION".
MONORCHIDISM is a rare condition in toms. In which one testicle is present in the sc***um and other one is present elsewhere mostly hidden in the under skin fat. Sometimes other testicle can be present in the abdomen a condition called CRYPTORCHIDISM.
In both condition , it is always advised to remove both the testicles. Ultrasonography can be used to find the MONORCHID or undescended testicle.
👨‍⚕️Team SERUG PET CLINIC has all the experience and facilities to combat such a conditions. This tom came to us for NEUTERING. On physical examination before the surgery , we found that tom is monorchid. So after addressing the owners about the situation , Surgery was performed successfully on GAS ANAESTHESIA.

Yesterday a female cat, age around 1 year plus was brought to clinic with complain of blood and purulent discharge from va**na. Her histroy was recent matting.
Physical examination was performed showing high temperature.
CBC was performed showing high WBC. As her health was getting compromised she was adviced to be fixed as soon as possible.
Today in the evening she was brought back to clinic for surgery and while pre surgical preperation she had blood discharge from va**na.
Her spay was performed under Gas Anethesia. And now she is in recovery section.
Team SPC wish her healthy future.
Advice 🙏 : never mate cat with any unknow tom.
Always keep ur cats vaccinated and under routine checkup by vet.
Never use contraceptive in cats.
Get them spayed to increase their healthy life.

WHY DOGS LIVE LESS THAN HUMAN! ♥️

Here's the surprising answer of a 6 year old child.

Being a veterinarian, I had been called to examine a ten-year-old Irish Wolfhound named Belker. The dog’s owners, Ron, his wife Lisa, and their little boy Shane, were all very attached to Belker, and they were hoping for a miracle.

I examined Belker and found he was dying of cancer. I told the family we couldn’t do anything for Belker, and offered to perform the euthanasia procedure for the old dog in their home.

As we made arrangements, Ron and Lisa told me they thought it would be good for six-year-old Shane to observe the procedure. They felt as though Shane might learn something from the experience.

The next day, I felt the familiar catch in my throat as Belker‘s family surrounded him. Shane seemed so calm, petting the old dog for the last time, that I wondered if he understood what was going on. Within a few minutes, Belker slipped peacefully away.

The little boy seemed to accept Belker’s transition without any difficulty or confusion. We sat together for a while after Belker’s Death, wondering aloud about the sad fact that dogs' lives are shorter than human lives. Shane, who had been listening quietly, piped up, ”I know why.”

Startled, we all turned to him. What came out of his mouth next stunned me. I’d never heard a more comforting explanation. It has changed the way I try and live.

He said, ”People are born so that they can learn how to live a good life — like loving everybody all the time and being nice, right?” The six-year-old continued,

”Well, dogs already know how to do that, so they don’t have to stay for as long as we do.”

Live simply.
Love generously.
Care deeply.
Speak kindly.

Remember, if a dog was the teacher you would learn things like:

• When your loved ones come home, always run to greet them.
• Never pass up the opportunity to go for a joyride.
• Allow the experience of fresh air and the wind in your face to be pure Ecstasy.
• Take naps.
• Stretch before rising.
• Run, romp, and play daily.
• Thrive on attention and let people touch you.
• Avoid biting when a simple growl will do.
• On warm days, stop to lie on your back on the grass.
• On hot days, drink lots of water and lie under a shady tree.
• When you’re happy, dance around and wag your entire body.
• Delight in the simple joy of a long walk.
• Be faithful.
• Never pretend to be something you’re not.
• If what you want lies buried, dig until you find it.

Caesar is 8 yr old big boy.
He is too cute but one bad thing happened to him was he couldnt control his hormone against other dogs.
On recurrent complain of him decision was taken to neutralize him. Today he got admit, got neutered and finally he is out of anesthesia.

Yes this time its a kitten of 2 month brought late night to clinic, he was in some accident leading to damag to his lower lip. It got seperate from his lower jaw.
Dr. Sharoon and Dr. Qasim just handled the case and under GA his lip repair was performed.
Now he is back in life enjoying meals.

EMERGENCY 😯 :
This is beautiful pup of a Lab. bitch , after the C-section done in EMERGENCY At 2 am. Reasons to go for C- section were two
1- bitch was unable to deliver because of dystocia ( baby was stuck ).
2- Bitch was obese ( periva**nal fat) and had history of not delivering babies normally.

So, the owners contacted us around 1 am after doing everything. Surgery was conducted on "GAS ANAESTHESIA" In emergency. 1 of the 3 puppies was alive , luckily. Two puppies were died😢. But mother's and her one baby's life was saved by doing the surgery ( Thanks God 🙏).

NOTE : Don't let your pets to become overweight or obese. it can get you in situations like this and many others e.g. Arthritis , diabetes. Keep them active and alert. Peace ✌️

Basically , this post is for the Awareness of pet lovers especially when we are talking about cats. Because cats are more prone to go for Linear foreign body (thread, string etc) obstruction and this case is all about it.
The owners of this lovely tom , Bruce , contacted us in emergency with the complain of vomiting. Tom was treated symptomatically as they didn't have any idea that , Bruce , has eaten more than 6 feet long string. Till evening he was in stable condition although vomits were there. So after taking xrays and blood tests. SPC team decided to go for the Laprotomy (Enterotomy as well) under "Gas Anaesthesia" resulted in discovery of more than 4 ft long string in the intestine. 🙄 Yeah ...
The tom recovered really soon and after 2 days of stomach rest , started taking soft food and within a week he is back to normal. Living happily 🙏.

Lab was recieved at clinic with swollen sc***um and redness.
On physical examination we found maggots that had damaged 80% of the testicles and made huge tunnels.
Only way left behind to save from further damage was to perform scrotal ablation and castration.
Surgery was sucessfully performed and now the lab is back to normal life.
