VIQAR UN NISA NOON GIRLS HIGHER SECONDARY INSTITUTE ( OFFICIAL ) For good administration the school is divided into five sections i.e. Umer Bano (late).

Viqar–un- Nisa Noon Girls Higher Secondary Institute, named after its founder Lady Viqar-un-Nisa Noon has been imparting and spreading education for more than five decades since its establishment on 01 March, 1956. It is primarily a girls institution spreading over a vast area of 78 kanals with all types of academic facilities. Currently, the school is holding classes from Play Group up to class X

II and O'Level classes, too, in affiliation with the Federal board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Islamabad and the University of Cambridge, respectively.The school offers a vast range of subjects to its students both in Science and Humanities, to equip the students with skills that enable them to meet the challenges of the ever advancing world. Pre-School, Primary Section, Secondary Section, Higher Secondary & O’Level section and Junior Memorial Section which are managed by the headmistresses of the respective sections. Besides this, there is a Junior Memorial School section for the education of the underprivileged students initiated by the principal Miss. The school is an autonomous body managed by the Board of Governors under the chairmanship of Advocate Mr Muhammad Ikram Chaudhary. There are total 200 members on the staff, of which 130 are the faculty members, 48 are the ancillary staff members and 11 are the admin. Staff members.The school has a photographer, two carpenters, and an electrician, too

10th Islamabad Literature Festival 2024:

The students of VNS visited the Islamabad Literature Festival arranged at Gandhara Citizen's Club, F-9 Park, Islamabad.
The festival featured panel discussions, book launches, poetry reading, providing a platform for creative expression and conversation with it's theme "Sustainability: Words Change Mindsets." This festival promises to educate, inspire and entertain.
The students and teachers of VNS eagerly engaged with authors, intellectuals and fellow literature enthusiasts, making the most of this enriching experience.

A Day with the Doctor!

Our Nursery class had an exciting visit to the Medical Center today!

*"A Day with the Doctor"* activity aimed to:

Introduce our little ones to medical equipment.
Understand how medical assistance is provided at times of need.
Build a friendly relationship between Doctor and patient/students.

Our students enthusiastically interacted with the doctor, asking curious questions and learning about the importance of healthcare.

We're proud of our tiny explorers for being brave and inquisitive!

The Investiture Ceremony for the academic session 2024-2025 was held in Viqar un Nisa Noon Institute on October 11, 2024.
This momentous occasion marked the beginning of a new era of student leadership, as we welcomed our newly elected student council.
The student council members were invested with their badges and sashes, signifying their new roles and responsibilities. The ceremony also witnessed the oath-taking of newly elected council members and school magazine editors, led by the honourable principal, Mrs. Saman Khawar Abdullah, where the students pledged to uphold the motto of school.
Presidents of school Clubs and Societies, along with House Captains, were also awarded with their respective sashes pledging impartiality and honesty in leadership and commitment.
The respected Principal then concluded the ceremony by addressing the gathering, emphasizing the significance of leadership, teamwork, and responsibility.

Five students from O’Level-IV received their certificates of participation in "Your World" - global video making competition, in a grand ceremony hosted by the British Council at Pearl Continental, Rwp on October10,2024. The theme of the 2023-24 video was, Climate Change- from Crisis to Action.

Ms.Amanda Ingram, Country Exam Director, Pakistan, gave away the certificates to the students and the leaders of the partner schools. Ms.Kanwal Shah, Head of Schools, Pakistan presented an update on Partner Schools offers by the Cambridge University and the British Council. Mr Amsal Naeem, the Chief Creative Officer at Mercury Transformations provided the students with tips on videography.

ربیع الاول کے بابرکت مہینے میں محفل میلاد بسلسلہ جشن آمد رسولﷺ وقارالنساء نون گرلز ہاءیر سیکنڈری اسکول میں بروز جمعہ 22 ربیع الاول بتاریخ 27 ستمبر سکول آڈیٹوریم میں منعقد کی گئ۔ تقریب کی مہمان خصوصی چیئرمین گوورننگ باڈی ایڈووکیٹ اکرام چوہدری کی اہلیہ، ممبر گوورننگ باڈی طاہرہ اکرام صاحبہ تھیں۔ بچوں نے نہایت عقیدت کے ساتھ نعتیں پڑھیں اور خوبصورت آوازوں کے ساتھ آڈیٹوریم میں موجود تمام طالبات اور اساتذہ نے مل کر درود و سلام کا نذرانہ پیش کیا۔ ,آخر میں نہایت ادب اور خشوع و خضوع سے دعا کی گئ۔خاص طور سےعالم اسلام، پاکستان اور سکول کی ترقی کے لیے خصوصی دعائیں کی گیٔں۔

Their sparkling minds created breathtaking projects related to Social Studies as they believe that History can give us a fuller understanding of ourselves and embarked on a journey discovering the different cultures of Pakistan and displayed them through their models.

Our Artists 🎨🎭👥 shine with colours and using recycled ♻ materials made amazing projects.

Our students believe that man is still the most extraordinary computer of all. Through their magnificent Computer projects, they developed crucial social - emotional skills like self awareness and collaboration.

On September 12,2024, the Kangaroo Science Contest 2024 was held at Viqar un Nisa Noon Girls Higher Secondary Institute,, bringing together enthusiastic Vaqarians to showcase their problem-solving skills and scientific acumen. This highly anticipated event offered a challenging platform for students to engage in critical thinking and apply their knowledge in innovative ways. Participants were immersed in a range of stimulating questions and scenarios that tested their analytical abilities and creative solutions.
The students from Grades VI-VIII and Grades O Level I & O Level II demonstrated remarkable enthusiasm and commitment. Their eagerness to tackle difficult problems and collaborate with peers highlighted the positive impact of such events on their educational experience.
