Not only our long-term volunteers went back home. 😉
They took along one of our HBA horses TUNGUS. Julie and Virgile want to start their own horseback archery club 🏹 in their home town. We hope that Tungus is going to help them achieve it 😊

Our longterm volunteers Julie and Virgile are going back home after 6 months spending with us at Kawalkada Horseback Archery. It's been a great pleasure to meet you guys and work with you. ❤️ You'll be greatly missed. 🥺

Last ranking HBA competition this season came to an end.
Our volunteers also participated as competitors. Julie's parents and sister especially came to Poland to participate in this event. 💪💪💪. It was a great pleasure to meet them. 😍
At the end of the competition we also held a farewell camp fire for our long-term volunteers. 🔥🔥🔥

Every year in August our Sports Club Kawalkada organises Open Polish Horseback Archery Championship. This year our long-term volunteers participated as competitors too.

These competitions were even more important for them as theirs parents decided to come down to join them for a short holiday break. They wanted to see with their own eyes what they are doing at our Club as volunteers, but what's more important - they wanted to support and cheer them during the competition.

We are really happy that they decided to visit us and we very much appreciate such engagement. As they not only visited their kids but also decided to join in their volunteering activities.

Although dance clubs are not open yet due to Covid19 restrictions - so we organised our own volunteers' dancing party at the campfire. 😄😍😎😉

2nd stage of Wielkopolska Cup "Strzała w Koronie" took place 23-25.07.2021 where our volunteers both participated as competitors and as target judges. A whole group of new volunteers that arrived for short term project could learn how to prepare tracks for competitions, how to count points from target and meet competitors from other countries.

In the evening we all integrated at campfires eating barbecue, singing songs and having fun in general. 😄😎😉

During summer time we run summer camps for children. Our volunteers are helping us in teaching and entertaining kids while they are at Kawalkada.

Our new volunteers also have a chance to learn horseback riding and horseback archery. Although they don't have that much time to become competitors but they learn how to shoot from the ground.

We also don't forget about other things: like preparing a horse for a ride, checking if saddle or harness are properly mounted or... even cleaning. In one word - everyday duties in the stable.

🟥 HACK - Horseback Archery Camp at Kawalkada 🟥 our short term project has started. It will last from 1st of July until end of August.

This time we have a group of new volunteers coming to us from Mongolia, France and Poland. It will be very interesting to learn about their cultures, language and customs. 💪💪💪👨‍👩‍👧‍👨‍👩‍👦‍👦👨‍👩‍👧👩‍👩‍👦👨‍👨‍👧👨‍👨‍👧‍👧

Social events (such as parties 😎😉😄🤪) are also a part of volunteering. Here we are celebrating Virgile's birthday. Although weather interfered with our plans - we still manage to have some fun together.
