Back from his sleep comes the weird tarantulaman, muscles aching from moving heavy glass and wooden objects from point A to Beta - also known to mankind as furniture. Now his natural habitat in form of a cave full of eight-legged horror hamsters has been restored. Time to contact his tribe in his weekly arachnooratorical thing-stuff-ritual.

Day 40 of the move: Let there be light

We are slowly getting to the finishing line... that was a lot of heavy lifting. Big thanks to my friend Daniel, who helped moving Castle Balfenstein.

Small sad news though... the female Cupiennius salei passed after opening her unfertile eggsac. *sigh* Maybe next time.

Now we just need to order some nice lights, clean the enclosures... and we are back on the YouTube track.

The first glimpse at the new tarantularium. Still so much to do, but we are slowly approaching the finishing line. Now only 6 racks and a lot of enclosures to transport...

Hey,

no livestream scheduled for today, my parents-in-law are currently visiting me and Maria.

So far we want to hold a Before-flight-to-Mexico Stream on Saturday.

If that won't happen the next stream will be held either by Maria after I return.
