Choco Charlie ! 💙

Check out our previous post, for his entire rescue story.

We just picked him up from our vet and as we figured, he needs to see a specialist. Our vet confirmed, he has two breaks - one in each leg. We will get him to a specialist, to figure out the game plan. Poor Charlie - what pain he must be in 😞.

He can’t walk, or, stand alone, without our help.
We are keeping him as comfortable as can be, until he heads to Salinas area tomorrow.

As soon as we know the next step, we will update his status.

We have had lots of caring messages, come through on him. Thank you for loving him 🫶🏼.

We rescued a puppy with one broken leg - possibly TWO! Not an every day occurrence, you walk up to a puppy, in a basket needing help 😏. My life lately - it seems to be the norm 😐.

We rescued another puppy!!!
We received a text yesterday, from a friend, that said “We thought you were COLLECTING puppies!” - made me laugh! We are NOT, but it may appear that way. It’s been out of control the last two weeks!!

This little one is SAFE!
He is at our house and will see the vet, for X-rays tomorrow. He can’t walk and he can’t stand up. He is so sweet though. He looks at us with hopeful eyes, asking us, to fix him. We will, we will! We gotcha buddy!

Capi - HE IS HEADED TO NY 💙!!!

We are so confused though, his rescue story was a big deal and he got a ton of attention - but, no applications in on him 🤨. We for sure thought, this would be an easy one. Come on, we know his forever home is out there! He is just a puppy. He needs a HOME!!

▪️Vetted accordingly- and neutered ✔️.
▪️Velcro dog
▪️Loves LOVE 🥰
▪️Food and treat obsessed
▪️Loves couch and bed snuggles - we do not want him in a crate (if you are a crate person, he is not the one).

The “M” crew is officially getting introduced.
This is the litter, we just rescued, on Monday.
Pretty amazing what a home, love and a little kindness can do 🫶🏼.

These cuties are in foster, here in PR.
Once they are fully ready, we will post them and start to move them stateside. All pups, will need either a foster home, or even better, a forever home. 🖤🖤

Sigh - we got them!
We are beyond maxed (even more than usual), but we had to help. These babies were covered in bugs, starving and in a not so good area. It’s also supposed to rain this whole week, so they would have been left to that 😏.
Sometimes, our heart just aches too deeply - WE HAD TO HELP!

Again, not a lot of words today, because we are sad with Puerto Rico and the dog problem. Every thing we have said, is just repeated lately. It’s the same story, just a different day and more puppies 😔.

Send strength our way this week.
We are DRAINED!!!

A huge thank you to Mari, who went and scooped up these babies. She is also offering to help foster them - THANK GOD!

Good humans, is what makes our rescue mission possible. We are surrounded by a lot of good - it outweighs the bad 🫶🏼.

WE HAVE HER!!!! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

One more - jussstttt onnneer morrreee pup, has joined SOS. We couldn’t have done this one, without DONATIONS and you guys made it happen! THANK YOU!! She is off the street and SAFE!!!

It’s Saturday night and what a week it’s been 🫠.
We are throwing in the towel and will post more tomorrow. For now, she is in a home, with a cozy bed and getting lots of love (thank you Joyce).
