Batalha’s dream of becoming a breeder of Lusitanos, at the mythical Quinta da Torre. The careful selection program resulted in a model of horses within the breed’s standard, which has awarded them several important trophies in the last few years. The stud farm’s goal is to breed Lusitano horses with aptitude for classical training and dressage - the qual

ity of gaits, high rideability, nobility and temperament, all reflect on the ability to incorporate the rider’s aids and progress in training.
