We open our hands from our former breeding stallion Janota do Pilar - he’s now gelded and very well socialised. Janota is used to go to the paddock with other horses and is happily hacking in the woods🙂

He gained lot’s of competition experience up to Prix St. Georg and is schooling at the moment advanced exercises like Piaffe and 1 Tempies. He’s very well mannered and easy in handling the perfect schoolmaster or Junior horse and certainly the best add to become a new member of your family!! 🧡 Strong body and size, standing 1.70m.

🔜 Coudelaria Henrique Abecasis is scouting a Working Student for the minimum of 3 months!

If you want to improve your riding skills under the portuguese sun ☀️ and enjoy well schooled Lusitano Horses & top Dressage training this will be your opportunity!

We are looking for a self responsible and hard working person that is eager to learn and expand their knowledge about riding and breeding with a big heart for horses.

Duties include bringing horses to the paddock / horsewalker, preparing horses for the main riders, lunging, taking care of tack, helping to train Youngsters, helping with some breeding duties at the studfarm and of course giving a helping hand whenever it’s needed☺️

We offer a good team spirit, outstanding training conditions ( Indoor, 20x60 outdoor ) and a minimum of 2 riding lessons a week. Located in the beautiful city of Azambuja, 30 min from Lisbon airport.

Accommodation and small pocket money included.
