Peppa (was Pudding) is absolutely thriving in her new forever home. She has a blossoming friendship with one of the cats, and they like to play and sleep together. It really does fill my heart with so much joy when an adoption turns out to be the perfect match! 🥰

TRAINING DAY! Actually every day is training day with young doggies. Estrela and Peppa learning the car is fun…and they both jumped into the car by themselves today, so a big step forward 🥳🥳🥳

Estrela and Peppa still squeeze into one bed! 🤣
It was an incredible year, I never imagined I would foster 9 dogs, 8 of which were a litter of pups. It’s been intense and tiring at times, but also funny and very rewarding. Soon it will just be Estrela, and with a little magic she will be adopted soon too. ❤️

I have some wonderful news to share! Whilst I’m going to really miss this lovely girl, I’m so happy for her. She will have a doggie companion, and four kitties too. I cat tested her beforehand and she did brilliantly ❤️

BIG NEWS! Pudding has a new name, and is now named Peppa ❤️ Why?
She has the most wonderful curly tail just like Peppa pig AND she has a wonderful family who would love to give her a forever home of her own. 🥳🥳🥳
She will join them in the new year, and whilst her foster mom will miss her so much, we are all delighted she will go to a loving home with other four legged companions.
She already knows her new name, what a clever special girl. 🥰

A long overdue post from us here….it’s been a busy month! The charity I foster for Adoption Dogs Portugal invited me to join their management committee, which of course I accepted and I am now taking care or social media channels and the adoption process. I am humbled and honoured to be able to help towards finding homes for all the doggies in our shelters.

Also I’m absolutely delighted to share the gorgeous Polly has been adopted by the most wonderful couple and their 3 dogs. She is settling in well, and enjoying lots of play time. I do miss her little face and waggy bum ALOT, but know she is going to have the best life, and I get to watch her grow up! 🥰

Polly, Pudding and Estrela enjoying the river beach for the FIRST time! 😁 Under the supervision of our little Nefeli of course!
It’s been very hot these days with temperatures up to 38 degrees, so lovely to cool off.

Estrela and Pudding both fell in 🤦🏼 but don’t worry it was shallow and they naturally swam to safety with a little guidance.

We sat and had coffee and breakfast before heading home. The pups are now fast ASLEEP 😴

Just came in from playing with the pups, and found this fluff ball sound asleep. It fills my heart with joy when I see him like this, knowing we saved, healed and showed him what human kindness and love looks like. Clearly he is very comfortable! 🥰🤣

POOR PUDDING….stung AGAIN! This time on her paw. She is the sweetest patient and thoroughly enjoying all the loving and care, and just lets me inspect it. She did try to eat the ice compress though 🤦🏼 Fingers crossed the swelling goes down overnight.

Yesterday I had a lovely update about Estrelinha from her new family. They were given a young kitten which was unplanned! They were concerned how Estrelinha might be, as she is a hunter breed. As you can see…..there is only love 💕

Last week was quite eventful and so I’ve not posted for a while. We have been hit with a heatwave so it’s made it a little tougher, most importantly keeping the dogs cool has been a priority!

We get up super early now, for walkies before it’s too hot.

Buddha and Tinker (left pic) went to stay with another super foster mum, as they are all growing up, and need more space, and also for them to socialise with bigger dogs. It’s going very well, and they are having lots of fun.

Polly, Pudding and Estrela (right pic) remain with me, and have adjusted very well to the change.

All 5 are so ready for their own loving families, so please do get in touch if that’s you. 🥰

Poor Pudding got stung by a 🐝 in the worst possible place on our walk in the woods today! Putting some ice and ointment to try ease the swelling and pain. 😢
