At least it's not a proper one. The dog parks are the areas where a big part of the bad behaviours start, such as not listening, reactivity, fear, adrenaline junkies,etc.

Tips for a cooler summer:

1. Adjust your walks for a time when it's cooler.

2. Reduce the amount of exercise during daytime.

3. Increase the ingestion of food with water content.

4. Water activities or , in case your dog doesn't love water, just rinse him with cold water in the tub.

5. Refreshing mattresses at home helps a lot.

6. Try freezing some treats or make some ice cream for your dog.

Trust, structure and love.

In order to train your dog, you will always need the 3 of them. Your dog needs to trust you (of course), but when you say "no" he needs to understand it (structure) and love, always, because love bring respect and understanding, as well as patience.

Para treinarem o vosso cão, vocês vão precisar sempre dos 3. O vosso cão precisa confiar em vocês (obvio), mas quando dizemos "não" ele tem de responder (estrutura) e amor, sempre, porque o amor traz respeito e compreensão, além de paciência.

If you think that he's letting himself be smelled by Granada (the little one), think again. He's just leading Ninja to the heel behaviour.

Please do NOT say hi to dogs like that, they have already smelled you a long time ago and it's weird if the dog is more insecure.

Let them go towards you, let them understand that you're no threat and start by petting the neck or back. Way less invasive.

Por favor, NÃO cumprimentem cães desta forma, eles ja sentiram o vosso cheiro bem antes e se o cão for inseguro isto vai ser estranho para ele.

Deixem-nos aproximar-se de vocês, deixem-nos perceber que vocês nao são uma ameaça e comecem por dar festinha no pescoço ou no lombo. Muito menos invasivo.

He's a 17 year old boy, with a lot of energy and still up to romance.
He's very strong willed boy who decides where he wants to go, doesn't particularly like new people and pulls a lot if you try to take him where he doesn't want to go.

We are very happy to be able to walk him 🧡
