Key's Tip of The Day ... Good Morning EveryDoggy!!! It's getting hotter and hotter and I have to do my walks everyday, as per my vet's orders. My owner is very careful and checks the heat of the pavement before we go. She's really funny actually, well I'm sure the neighbours think so.... She goes outside, takes her shoe off and stands on the pavement with her barefoot for 10 seconds. If she hasn't gone up in flames, she puts her shoe back on and we can go for our walk. But if her delicate tootsies can't bear the temperature she runs inside squeaking!!!! So please please please my friends get your owners to test the ground temperature before they insist that you put your Paws on in. Beach sand, tarmac, concrete, pavements and dirt tracks are the hottest. Grassy areas are much better for us. Also be aware that ASTRO turf is ridiculously hot!!! Becareful out there.

Key's Tip of The Day ... Good Morning EveryDoggy!!! I have been really busy in the last weeks, but I am very excited to say that yesterday my book was sent to the publishers. It's packed full of fun facts, games and exercises and stories of times gone by. It's an insight into us dogs being able to live in the humans world. I am going to take a well deserved nap this afternoon. 😁🐕🐾🐾 I am an awesome dog.

Key's Tip of The Day ... Good Morning EveryDoggy!!! I am considering jumping off the cliff!! If you, my doggie friends don't make a concerted effort to get your owners to bring the puppies in your home to Puppy School. This is where so many future behavioural problems can be PREVENTED. It's sooooo easy,
1. Get a puppy
2. Take it regularly to Puppy School
3. Do the homework
4. Get promoted to Adult classes
5. Have a fantastic, stress-free life with the dog
But NO!! This is what I am experiencing
1. Get a puppy
2. Don't take it to Puppy School because it is a puppy and everything it's doing is normal!!! So your owners will make excuses for it's behaviour.
3. Homework, what homework? No just get frustrated with the puppy, shout at it for biting, or peeing on the carpet, yank it around by the lead .... this is how they learn....apparently
4. Dog is now around 8 months old, lunging, biting, barking, screaming mess or frozen, afraid and unpredictable. Either goes to training as last resort because his owners have tried everything!!!! Or is surrendered to a shelter.
5. Make excuses for the dogs behaviour... it's because he's a rescue, he was from a shelter. No!! He was 8 weeks old when he entered your home, but no one trained him. OR he's been surrendered to a shelter and now a new puppy gets brought into your home....back to square one?

Please my friends get your owners to start Puppy School as soon as they bring that cute little bundle of puppy into your home. And make sure they attend regularly and do their homework. No excuses, this is a dogs life at stake!!!!!

Key's Tip of The Day ... Good Morning EveryDoggy!!! Happy Easter to all of you from my friends and I. We wish you a lovely day but please don't eat any chocolate eggs. Leave them all for your owners. We're going to have an Easter hunt here at my house, I sure hope it's going to be inside only because it's raining, raining and raining out there. I will have to be quick to find some hidden treasures because my friends Pip and Zsa are super quick at finding things. But I have a secret, I have been doing my ScentWork homework from the Workshop and now I'm also a speedy nose navigator. Shhhhhhhhhh don't tell them.

Key's Tip of The Day ... Good Morning EveryDoggy!!! Well I'm really sorry that I have been a bit quiet for a while. But I have been working on something really exciting. I'm in the process of writing a book for you. 🙊 And all people keep asking is "How long is it going to take?" And "When will it be finished?" Well strangely enough I hear the same things from some of your owners, regarding how long it will take to train you. My friend Midnite, here in the photos was a crazy crazy boy and even his owners were asking the same questions "How long is it going to take?" Thanks goodness they had patience and were consistent and persistent with his training. And now just look at how relaxed he can be whilst their son plays nearby. Well done to my friend Midnite and to his family for not giving up on him, even when he was very challenging. And as for my book, I'm on chapter 19, "How long is it going to take?" I honestly don't know. But you my friends will be the first to know, well after myself of course 🤣😂

Key's Tip of The Day ... Good Morning EveryDoggy!! Disaster, misfortune and accidents can strike at any time. 😔 Yesterday morning when I woke up I was a pirate.... No I wasn't still in my Carnaval costume 🤣 It was worse, I couldn't see out of my right eye, I couldn't even open it, not even a teeny tiny slit ..... and boy did it hurt 😭 But I was a very brave boy, first I rested my head on my owner's leg until she realized that I was behaving strangely, at first she just gave me a tickle to the ears, but she was busy working and didn't actually look at me, so I kept my head on the back of her leg and then she realized it was odd behaviour and that's when she asked if I had a headache and looked at me. As soon as she realized I had an eye problem she sprung into action. She gently checked my eye and eyelids and couldn't find any foreign body in there. Next she flushed my eye out, took some photos and contacted my vet. Whilst waiting for the vet to get back to her she went to the pharmacy and showed them the photos, they recommended more flushing and gave my owner a solution to use. My vet then responded and suggested the same and to check me in the morning.... On Sunday.... Boy I have a lovely vet!!! I was very subdued yesterday but when I woke up this morning I'm no longer a pirate and am back to my healthy self. So my friends a few things to consider 1. Get your owners to desensitize your bite Triggers, you never know when they may need to help you when you're in pain.
2. Make sure your owners look at you everyday and run their hands over you, this way they'll quickly see if something is wrong.
3. Get a fantastic vet like mine 🤩

It's Resolution Time.....this year my Resolution is to achieve more Dog Parkour Certifications and I'm going to be introducing a brand new concept which is going to help create more and more balanced dog and owner teams. Key's Plea of The Season ... Good Morning Again EveryDoggy!!! Every year I make a collection for the dogs in Rescue organizations. My friends Fig, Jag, Pip and Ace are asking you to dig deeper this year, find those unwanted beds, blankets, big bags of dog and cat food and give them to those animals who are less fortunate than yourselves. FIG, JAG, ACE were all rescued from the trash cans and PIP was removed from a hoarding/puppy farm situation along with many others. Help Help Help!!!

Key's Tip of The Day ... Good Morning EveryDoggy!!! Merry Christmas to all my friends. I hope you all have a fantastic holiday time. Remember to please be safe, Don't eat the English mince pies, Christmas Pudding or Christmas Cake, those raisins are bad bad bad for us dogs. Don't be tempted by the chocolate, leave that for your owners!! Stay away from the tinsel, Christmas lights, poinsettia plants and please don't play with the baubles 🤪 Don't eat the nuts, stay away from fatty foods, play nicely with your friends and family and ensure you get lots of downtime between all the festivities. Have a Pawsome Christmas, behave well and SantaPaws may visit. 😍🐾🐾🎄
