Ola everyone.

It is time for Malcata Animal Association and my Quinta/farm, to find a new owner.

As some of you know, It is time for me to return to the UK,, to be with my family

Primarily, I would like serious animals lovers to take over and carry on the association.

It has been a success over the last 5 years, with the help of my wonderful volunteers Terri Paul, and family, and Wendy.
Also to everyone who has made donations to help with the finances. Thank you

There is quite a lot to discuss in the running and bureaucratic side of an animal association in Portugal. So when you come to view it will be fully explained

There will be between 5-7 dogs at the Quinta/farm, that will still require homes.

Rufinho and Snowy are still looking for their forever homes.
They have been with us for quite some time now.
They need a nice safe and secure space.
Both have great characters.
They are both chipped ,,vaccinated and sterilised.

We have been quiet for a while as I have been visiting family in the UK and also we have several dogs still requiring forever homes.

A very big thank you to Wendy Russell for looking after the place whilst I have been visiting family

It is always financially difficult and we receive very little in the way of donations.

Rufinho and Snowy have been with us now for four years . It is not the best if lives for them and need a loving forever home

A lot of ticks around at the moment ,,ensure your animals are protected.
Lyme's disease is in Portugal.

Are ticks a problem in Portugal?

They feed on most animals, including dogs, cats and people. All the varieties in Portugal can transmit assorted diseases. There are at least 8 tick fevers, including Lyme, Babesia and Ehrlichia.

Aproxima-se a 31ª iniciativa do Banco Solidário Animal da Animalife – A criar histórias felizes, que terá lugar no Auchan, Alegro Castelo Branco, nos dias 25 e 26 de fevereiro e gostaríamos de contar com a tua participação.

Esta campanha tem 4 turnos por dia e, será necessário pelo menos dois voluntários por turno, se puderes ajudar, disponibilizando algum tempo pessoal do fim de semana, a favor dos animais que nós ajudámos, agradecemos muito 🙏❤️

The cost for a sterilisation in Sabugal is 100 euros
