🔬 Deworming Update for Summer 🔍
With the rise in temperatures during the summer, the activity of ectoparasites (fleas and ticks) and endoparasites (intestinal and heartworms) increases significantly.

🩺It is essential to keep the internal and external deworming protocol up to date to ensure the health and well-being of your pets.

👉 Talk to your vet and keep your pet's health up to date.

Já era hora do Gimme a Paw encontrar um lugar maior e menos movimentado para hospedar o seu patudo, então nos mudamos para um bairro mais tranquilo e de fácil acesso.🐾
A partir de 1º de novembro, receberemos nossos filhotes em um novo endereço.🏡
Entre as várias maneiras de chegar lá, também será possível encontrar um "ponto de entrega" perto das estações de metrô: Ramalde ou IPO.📌

It was time for Gimme a Paw to find a bigger and less crowded place, so we moved to a quieter neighborhood that was still easily accessible.🐾
From November 1st we will be welcoming our puppies to a new address.🏡
Among the various ways to get there, it will also be possible to find a "pick up point" close to the metro stops: Ramalde or IPO.📌

We had our baby Bella stay with Leticia while we were in the Azores this past week, and she was so wonderful taking videos and pictures and keeping us updated while we were away. I highly recommend Leticia as a dog sitter- she is so knowledgeable and caring. 😄

April 4th is World Street Animal Day!

The initiative was spearheaded by Dutch organizations with the noble aim of mitigating the plight of abandoned animals. Though not formally recognized, numerous organizations globally seize the occasion to shed light on the staggering reality of approximately 600 million homeless animals worldwide.

Street dogs and cats are innocent victims, thrust into their circumstances through no fault of their own. Abandoned by their owners, born into the harsh realities of the streets, or simply lost, they endure a life of hardship. Often malnourished, they brave extreme weather conditions and suffer from various illnesses. Subjected to persecution by hostile individuals, they face violence and danger daily. They did not choose this life, yet they must endure it – tragically, for many, it becomes their untimely demise!

Promoting adoption campaigns, supporting NGOs that take in abandoned animals or even choosing to adopt an animal are acts of love and citizenship that also contribute to the quality of the environment and human health.
