April, Brownie, Cookie, Honey and Snowy booked their Vaccinations, had a Spa day and made sure they secured rooms in the QVC Pet Hotel. They heard how many pets went missing from petsitters over Eid and were horrified. 🙀

It is terrifying when dogs are attacked and poor Kasser never expected to end up in hospital having his wounds stitched.

We see many owners who in shock, try to grab the dogs to break up the fight by using their hands and they too get bitten and have to go to hospital.

Try to stay calm and always carry a water bottle to sq**rt or use a hose to spray if you are in a yard.

Dog fights are very stressful situation for all owners involved but the priority should always be to ensure any person or animal harmed during a dog fight sees a medical professional as quickly as possible.

The amount of pressure from a Dogs jaw when biting can lead to significant damage underneath the skins surface.
It is very important to always bring your pet in for a check as significant internal damage can occur.

Kasser was the very best boy at his revisit checkup with Dr Sharlene and is healing beautifully because he was brought in so quickly by his quick thinking Dad. ❤️

Twix had the team on a massive hunt for his missing testicle.

Cryptorchidism (retained testicles) in cats is uncommon and the only treatment option is surgical removal to prevent testicular torsion and cancer.
Congenital abnormalities that have been known to occur simultaneously with cryptorchidism are patellar luxation, (dislocation), shortened tail, kinked tail, tetralogy of Fallot (heart defect), tarsal deformity, (deformed toes), microphthalmia, (small eyes) and upper eye agenesis (eyelid deformation).
That’s a lot…
Because cryptorchidism is considered to have a genetic basis, animals with this condition should not be used for breeding.

Twix was soon up and telling everyone in his loudest voice he was totally relieved that he had the whole team working together to keep him healthy. ❤️

11:11 has the most beautiful eyes and battered her eyelashes at Dr. Lenny all through her checkup. She had a nasty bout of diarrhea that is now completely resolved and to be honest didn’t hear a thing Dr. Lenny said as she was too busy falling in love.

Gorgeous little Bomi was so delighted to have her post op check with Dr. Olmo and hear that she was in tip top shape after he had surgically removed a HUUUGE bladder stone that had been stuck in her urethra.

Bladder stones form when there is an excess of minerals such as calcium or phosphate in the urine which clump together to form crystals. These clump together and in Bomis’ case formed huge stones call uroliths.

These stones irritated her bladder and and urethra causing painful urination and bleeding. Thankfully her family was on top of her symptoms fast and she was soon diagnosed and booked for surgery with Dr Olmo.

Any time your pet has blood in their urine they should be seen the same day. Blood clots or dark red urine are considered an emergency so please call us straight away.

Bomi is now back to her gorgeous self and feeling fab. She is considering making her uroliths into a collar ❤️
