🎄 For many people, Christmas means warmth, family, and a festive dinner.
But for stray dogs… for the animals in shelters… and for the forgotten souls in Băbeni public shelter, Christmas is just another cold, lonely day.

They are not lucky enough to have families.
They are not lucky enough to sleep on a sofa.
They are not lucky enough to be warm.

And that’s exactly why we want to do something different this year.

For the dogs and cats in our shelter, for the stray animals on the streets, and for the dogs trapped in Băbeni public shelter, we want to bring a small moment of joy — maybe the only joyful moment they will have all year.

It’s almost Christmas… and we are desperate.

Behind every rescued animal, there are people.
People who clean, feed, carry, treat, and stay — even when it’s cold, exhausting, and overwhelming.

Our helpers are not volunteers who can “skip a month.”
They are people with families. With children. With bills.
And right now, we are under enormous pressure to pay their wages.

This is a huge stress for us.
Because they deserve to have food on their table for Christmas too.

They show up every single day for the animals — quietly, without praise, without holidays.
And we cannot let them down.

…. Bruce is the dog that was trapped in a deep well.
For a WEEK.
Police called us at midnight.
We were his only chance at that time .
Bruce is now safe with us recovering after the shock that he lived….

We did everything we could… and it still wasn’t enough….💔💔

We are heartbroken.

We tried to save her. We never stop trying….💔💔

Despite emergency surgery, stopping the hemorrhage, suturing her muscles and skin, and giving her strong multimodal pain relief, the little female dog we rescued yesterday from the streets did not survive 😢.

She passed away just 6 hours after surgery.

She did not die alone. She was loved, warm, and finally free from pain.
She was warm, sedated, and surrounded by people who cared.
But her suffering on the streets was simply too much for her broken body.

And once again, we are left with a veterinary bill we struggle to pay.

This is the only way we can keep fighting for the next life.

Not every soul we fight for survives… but every soul deserves the fight…

We are devastated. We fight for them with everything we have, even when the odds are against us…💔

She is now at the clinic.
Her wounds are severe, her pain is immense, and her condition remains critical.

The vet is doing everything possible, but the costs are already rising and more treatment is needed.

💔💔 EMERGENCY VET CARE NEEDED – PLEASE HELP

Today we are facing one of the hardest cases.

A dog was found mauled, bleeding heavily, in shock and extreme pain 💔💔
She needs immediate veterinary intervention: pain medication, wound cleaning, antibiotics, imaging and possibly surgery.

This means urgent and high vet costs — costs we cannot cover alone anymore 😭😭😭😭

💔💔 URGENT – A DOG IS FIGHTING FOR HER LIFE

We are facing a nightmare today.

A poor dog has been found torn apart, covered in blood, screaming in pain.
Her body is full of wounds. She is in critical condition and suffering immensely.

This is not something that can wait.
She needs emergency veterinary care NOW — pain relief, wound treatment, medication, possibly surgery.
Without immediate help, she will not survive.

We could not turn our backs on her. We never do.
But the truth is painful: we are overwhelmed by vet bills and we cannot do this alone anymore.

🙏 Please help us save her life.
