Longines FEI JUMPING WORLD CUP™
This is it, this is what we all have been waiting for. The last qualifier will sift through and select who gets to ride in the Longines FEI JUMPING WORLD CUP™ FINAL in Las Vegas in April 2020. There is always a serious battle for the last points to reach one of the places in the final. Expect bursts of joy, looks of despair and a lot of fighting spirit when some of the world’s best riders battle for the win. The arena will reach a boiling point, no doubt about it and the audience will show why it is a world class crew of spectators, the best in the world according to many riders
Saturday’s programme is a virtual “all-you-can-eat” buffet in terms of equestrian sport and you can expect that classical tangible Scandinavium mood all day long. It is a mix of tomorrow’s stars and today’s elite mixed with lovely show pieces.
During the morning hours you will see exciting youth and youngster classes, filled with Sweden’s most promising talent. They have all worked hard to qualify during autumn and winter. In the afternoon prepare yourself for first class dressage entertainment when the penultimate world cup qualifier in FEI DRESSAGE WORLD CUP™ is settled. You can expect goose bumps and a guaranteed WOW-feeling when the riders guide their horses through the freestyle program. In the FEI World Cup Dressage™ Grand Prix Freestyle each rider shows off with their own program design and chosen über-cool music.
Saturday night continues with exciting presentations and new members to the Gothenburg Horse Show Hall of fame. As icing on the cake we finish off with a real crowd-pleaser; Gothenburg Trophy.

This is round two out of three where ten of Sweden’s best 7-year-old jumpers meet ten competitors from abroad ridden by international riders. This is a chance to see the up-and-coming four-legged stars on the brink of international sport in the second of three rounds.
Pony pride – Sverigeponnyn final
It is the most popular tournament for jumping ponies up to 140 cm height in Sweden, an institution. All the little combinations have qualified during autumn and winter and the ten-best made it all the way in to Scandinavium and the amazing atmosphere. Count on a lot of nerves, enthusiastic hang-arounds and a magical atmosphere when the next champion is crowned.

Enjoy the action in mounted games, voltige and agility and give a round of applause to the talented young riders who receive this year’s grants from Gothenburg Horse Show.

It’s here at last – our crowd-pleasing favourite class Gothenburg Trophy! Expect thrills and drama until the very last rider has crossed the finish line because everyone goes all in for victory. The atmosphere is magnificent, and the audience lifts the roof a little bit with every clear round. A prestigious class won by some of the world’s very best riders throughout the years.
A day for dressage lovers and an evening for jumping enthusiasts
On Friday morning it is time for dressage horses to make an entry into Scandinavium for the first time this year. You will experience a day of dressage with future prospects as well as the absolute elite combinations. Gothenburg Horse Show is the penultimate qualifier in the Western European league of the FEI Dressage World Cup™ and during the afternoon one of the most significant Grand Prix classes so far take place.
When the scenery changes towards jumping the piaffe and passage are traded in for massive oxers and impressive triple-combinations as the evening comes. The Western European League has reached its final stages and the evening hosts the first class in the Longines FEI Jumping World Cup™. The evening closes with an exciting speed class on 1,45-level.

SWB Trophy dressage
Friday’s opening act is the best young dressage horses from the Swedish breeding association SWB challenging each other in the Scandinavium arena. During Breeders Trophy in October every year the best 5-,6- and 7-year-olds are crowned and meet again in Scandinavium. Grab the opportunity to see up-and-coming future stars.

Wednesday’s programme draws to an end with a semi-final for sixteen of Sweden’s best junior jumpers. They get to try out the arena in the first class of the prestigious junior tournament Champion of Tomorrow.
