Very handsome youngster, ready to find a new loving home!
Talented jumper, highly placed in large novice classes for young show jumpers, ready to go 1,20m. Displaying three excellent gaits, earning him a gold medal as a foal, he has just as much potential in dressage. Together with his great rideability, qualifying him for a successful future in both disciplines.
He is a pleasure to handle at home and in new environment, he loves to work and interact with people.
Summing it up he is a real gem, especially for a rider or familiy looking for a versatile partner!

Diadem du Welle - what a present Blanche made us. Update on her filly by Diablue PS. Her look and the way she moves reminds us of a ballerina, lightfooted and energetic at the same time. But this ballerina will not dance in the dressage ring, she is definately born for jumping and jump-offs. 😍
HanPrSt Blanche du Welle, by Balou du Rouet x Calido I, has won her mares test with 9 / 9,5 for jumping technique and capacity. The sire Diablue PS (Diaron - Stakkato - Chacco-Blue) has finished his stallion performance test with outstanding marks and an overall score of 9.29. Recently he won a jumping horse class on M level scoring 9.3.

Blanche almost managed to outsmart our daily surveillance till late night by giving birth early morning between feeding and taking the horses out. Lucky it didn't happen during the night, since the way she lay down didn't trigger the attached birth alarm (never happened before). This way we could help her a little bit with her well developed and very long-legged foal.
In the end it went very well, Mom and baby are doing fine, enjoying some bonding time together.😍

While we are waiting for Blanche to present us her second foal. Here are the first pictures we took outside of Welticas youngest son. He is a very lively little chap full of energy. We are very impressed by the self confidence he displayed from the first day on. On top he is very cuddly, always seeking contact in the nicest possible way.
Very happy with this newest addition to Welticas family.

While Welticas little c**t developes nicely we are now waiting for Blanche to deliver her foal any day now.
We are very much looking forward to see the foal resulting out of this exciting combination.
Blanche received an Hanoverian Premium title and won the Hanoverian mare test in Sweden with 9 and 9,5 for her jumping technique and capacity. Her first son by Zinedream received a gold medal and developed meanwhile into a promising 2 year old.

With only short delay, based on the calculated date, this adorable little bundle was delivered last night!
Everything went very smooth, the little guy was up on his quite long legs in no time and started to explore the world.
Finding the source of milk was a much bigger challenge. Weltica did her best to help by standing very still and waiting patiently but it still took some human guidance and several attempts.
Lights in the stable switched off just after 4 am - back in the stable 6.30 am.
So here he is: C**t by Viva Vegas, brown, with a pretty star and a touch of white on his nose, white on all four legs.

After seeing the farm covered in snow only a week ago, we are now looking forward to the first foal of the year.
The expected date is end of April / beginning of May and the mare is Weltica (Cena Line).
The stallion we picked for her is Viva Vegas, a very young stallion descending out of a Rhinelander mare line. He became the reserve champion and premium stallion at the 2023 DSP Licensing in Munich and later the winner of the Danish stallion performance test. He confirmed the expectations as a 4 year old at the 2024 DWB licensing were he was proclaimed champion of the older stallions.

Finjellas lovely filly Destella by Destello, Vice-Worldchampion and Bundeschampion.
Destella is Finjellas first foal and now 6 months old, both are very similar in character, are very affectionate horses and very close to each other, grazing together and grooming each other often. 😍

Yearly visit of the Hannoveraner Verband

Our five foals were registered and inspected by Bo Eitenmüller and Christopher Kröckel. As common at Hanoverian inspections we also received an in-depth commentary on each foal useful for future stallion choices.
All foals received positive comments and good marks, with two of them standing out a bit more.
Acoriante (by Acolord) presented her second Gold Medal foal with Chorus, her very energetic and athletic c**t foal, also able to show good movements. Chorus is by Corus, the World Champion of the 6yo jumping horses 2021.
Esmerella, by G***ks Energy out of Demirella by Don Romantic, really showed off her beautiful uphill gallop. She trotted confidently with power from the hindleg, balance and tact. The icing on the cake was a 9 for type altogether resulting in a Gold Medal for Esmerella. G***ks Energy (breeder 2M2 Horses i Båstad AB) presents his first crop of offspring this year.
We are very satisfied with our crop of foals 2023!😍

Last week I represented Svenska Hannoveranerföreningen in the Hannoveraner International meeting in Verden. It was a very good and interesting meeting in combination with that I could look at the Hanoverian Championships. It was very interesting to meet with the representatives from all over the world.

Lipica - cradle of the famous white horses and historic venue.
Beltano and his new rider Tonka Žitkovic mentioned in 'Der Hannoveraner' - third place in the CDI junior team competition in Slovenia.
Beltano is Welticas oldest son and was trained and successfully shown up to advanced level by Marie Matthews in Great Britain.
He was matched with Junior rider Tonka Žitkovic and moved to Croatia end of last year. Both are qualified for the European Championships for Junior dressage riders in Kronberg this year. What a great start to this new partnership!

Meet Esmerella, beautiful filly by GLOCKs Energy (Escamillo x De Niro x Prince Thatch xx). Her mother is StPrSt Demirella (Rheinland) by Don Romantic x Casaretto.
Here only 3 days old she is already very well developed and loves to show her very impressive, balanced galopp.
Very happy with this little lady!😍

Surprise, surprise! A little filly came into the world around 5.30pm this afternoon! 😍But not Demirella is the mother, it is also not the jumping foal that we also expect these days. It is Roxica who gave birth to a lovely longlegged filly by Zauberlehrling. Both are doing great, the little one already very stable on her legs and very quick with everything, Roxica licking her almost constantly. The birth was a bit tougher than usual, but with some help all went well in the end.

Meet Destella! Her sire Destello won the Oldenburger Championships as well as the Bundeschampionat as a 4 year old. For us it was clear at first sight, seeing him move under the saddle, that we had to use him as Finjellas first breeding partner. While the foal started to grow in Finjellas belly he moved on to take an amazing second place in a very strong field at the World Championships for seven year old dressage horses.
Last step missing for Finjella to receive her Hannoverian Premium title is now the foal registration of Destella in a few months time. We are very curious how this little lady will develop over the next months.😍

This happened this morning very unexpected, at a very unusual time of the day, just before the horses are taken out. There was no real indication beforehand and it happened very fast, even the afterbirth was gone in no time. Well, looks like this little princess could not wait. This way she might even get a chance to see the snow! Very glad that we did not have to pick her up outside😳😅! So far mom and baby are doing very well!

Looking forward to the first foal of the year is always exciting! This time even more since it will be Finjella's first foal we are awaiting. The surveillance camera will be set up this weekend, to be on the safe side. Time to go around 14 days but one never knows. 😃
What we do know, it will be a little 'redhead', maybe dark chestnut which would be a lovely bonus.
Another attribute we are hoping for out of this match, is a built in very high quality canter. Lets wait and see, first of all hope that all goes well.

Han.Pr.C. Finjella by Fürst Jazz out of our St.Pr.St. Demirella (Don Romantic x Casaretto) at her turn in the ring at the NRW central Hanoverian and Rhineland registration. Shown by Arthur Verbroekken and Lisa van den Heuvel she really increased our couriosity what she will be like once she has had some training under saddle. 😍

Our lovely Dahliante, who has lately been in training at Stable Sjöudden, has now moved on to her new owner. Thanks to Jonas Pettersson for looking after her, developing her further and showing her successfully in MsvB (advanced Medium). Dahliante by Danone I - Lacoro was named after the beautiful flower Dahlia. She goes back to the internationally successful Lady Reveil-stam (Merrielijn 27). We will remember plenty of lovely and exciting moments with Dahliante from her first day as a newborn till her first day under saddle and eventually various competitions. We wish Dahliante and her new rider Lovisa Gerdhem all the best for the future and are looking forward to follow their journey that now has started.
