Last competition for this year! It took place in a cold, icy and windy Åkers Kanal (note my mittens ❄️☃️). The cold delayed the races with an hour, and an incredible work was done to prepare the hard and icy track.

My girls raced in the same race, and they both made a really bad start. Stuck behind the others, MB Synne tried to find a gap near the rail, but didn't succeed and lost pace. Maräng continued to not finding her way past dog n°3, and in the end they finished in 5th and 6th place.

This has been an incredible season, which I will summarize in a couple of days - right now I' m still defrosting 🥶😁

Intense weekend indeed. After Borås we went to a rainy Västerås to compete again.

I didn't know how Diva (MB Synne) would run after the 780 m. race the day before, but I didn't have to worry... A strong race again, on short distance this time, and another victory 🥇!!

Maräng too ran a short race against two girls (that also competed the day before 💪) and the race was fast and even. Elite times for all three, and Maräng on third place 🥉

Now it's only one competition left this year. We will go to Åkers Kanal GP, and hope the weather is OK. Temperatures below zero here at home today, so let's keep our fingers crossed 🤞!

Today was a truly amazing day at Borås GP ⭐!

🥇MB Synne tried long distance for the first time, and won the race in the most incredible way - what a warrior she is 💪 She got an elite time too, l03, and that means she now has elite times on all distances. I can only say WOW!!!

🥇Maräng ran a short race and showed off her rocket start, held the lead and came first over the finishing line. And the icing on the cake: she got a k02 💪

7hs (Borås) hosted the biggest competition this year with more than 100 dogs!! It was an incredible day, but a very long day though...😅 My compliments to all the members of the club that made this work so smoothly 👏!

➡️MB Synne ran a middle distance race since it seems to be her thing: 492 m. against some strong competitors. She came out almost flying from the trap, took the lead, but lost it in the first curve and fell down to the fifth position. But she's a real fighter, and in the last curve, she increased her speed, found a small gap close to the rail and past all the dogs but one! She's really showing strenght and tactic skills and I'm so proud of her. A second place for Diva 🥈and her third elite time on middle distance.

➡️Maräng was invited to an important race, the "Antidrug Race" (Antidrogloppet). Last year, Bad Liar won this race, and now Maräng could have a try. Unfortunately, it wasn't her day at all. After a bad start, she couldn't compete with the others and came in last. It was a fast race though, since she got her 14:th elite time on short distance anyway. Her competition season has been incredible and you can't always be on top. Good work, my beautiful Millie 👏

🥇Well, my youngest, MB Synne " Diva", took her third victory yesterday and got an elitetime on middle distance (550 m.) at Åkers Kanal GP in Stockholm. After a really good start that gave her the best split time, she just continued to push all the way until the hare stopped. She was so strong, and this was only her eighth start as she came into the competition season late. Watch out next year for MB Synne 💪🔥💯!

🥈The second achievement of the day was Maräng coming in second in the same race! She is a sprinter I would say, but yesterday she showed that she had the energy and the strenght to run 550. She missed the start completely, very unusual, but fought her way up, passing her brother Mentos, and got the silver medal. Well done, Millie Maräng 👏!!

❤ Bad Liar didn't compete due to an emergency operation (pyometra) last wednesday which, very sadly, will stop her from having puppies in the future. She's already feeling better and couldn't understand why I didn't let her run yesterday... She will now rest for this season and come back the season 2025.

What a weekend 💥! The girls were incredible, but most of all maybe, the youngest one. MB Synne "Diva" took a fantastic second place on middle distance in the Odd Molly-race. I knew she was strong, but this time she showed some tactic skills too. And she got her first elite time on middle distance! So proud 🥈

Maräng "Millie" and Bad Liar "Loka" ran in the same short distance race, and it was really tight on the finish line between the second, third and fourth behind Maräng. Bad Liar was 1/100 s. behind Pinkie Pie that took the second place. So Maräng first and Bad Liar third, and both got elite times 🥇🥉

Last weekend we went all the way to Borås to compete. A lot of dogs and many races!

➡️MB Synne raced in "Tipsligeloppet", a race with six strong dogs. Unfortunately, something happened right after start, and she lost pace and meters because of that. First we thought she got stuck in the trap while it opened, but when we saw the film it doesn't seem to be the problem. She comes out of the trap in a strange way, jumps up in the air, and then starts running. My theory is that she got stuck in the muzzle with the paw in some way. But then... she was determined to reach the others, and ran like crazy! At the finish line she was fourth, and to the hare stop she was second, after her mum, MB Leia. So... she's got the speed! Although she seems OK, she's going to have a check up today at K9 Wellness Järbo.

➡️Maräng ran in race number 15, late in the afternoon, and since she is the kind of whippet that starts to wind up already when we arrive to the track, she was not in the best shape at 5 pm. She did an incredible race anyway and managed to set a personal record at Borås GP.
➡️ Bad Liar took a weekend off, and did not compete - sometimes you need a holiday (she didn't think so, though 😁).

☀️ Last weekend we raced at our home track in Järbo. Maräng and MB Synne competed in the same race, a sprint race, and finished first and third! Well done 👏

☀️ Bad Liar ran a long race (stayer), but her shape after the heat isn' t back, so she finished last. I hope she' ll be back in shape soon ❤️💪

This weekend we competed in Örebro. Maräng and Bad Liar took part in a sprint cup where they made it to the final (Örebro, 8/9) thanks to two second places! Very well done against strong contenders, and they both got an elite time.

✅ Bad Liar has now 20 elite times on short distance! My beautiful, strong girl 💪🥇

➡️ Maräng has earned her elite bronze diploma on short distance this year and is now working towards the silver diploma!!

🥇 And last but not least, MB Synne in her third race took her second victory! I was especially happy to see her coming out of the trap in a good way, as she turned around in the trap in Alingsås the weekend before, and came out in a hopeless situation far behind the others, finishing last. But all went well this time, and she got her first elite time. Good job, my little one ❤️

Victory for MB Synne, "Diva", in her first race 🔥! She has still a lot to learn, but it was a good start for her. Congrats to my sweet little girl ❤️

Maräng and Bad Liar had a tough race against strong competitors, and finished third (Maräng), and fourth (Bad Liar). The race was very fast, so both girls got elite times on short distance 👏

We went far to compete this weekend, all the way to Simrishamn!

🥇 Maräng did a phenomenal race on short distance, she won, and got the class k02 - almost the best you can get! Congrats my little rascal ❤️

🥉 Bad Liar is after heat and is starting to lose her good shape unfortunately, but she gave 100% as always and finished in third place. Good girl 😍!

MB Synne had the privilege to act as support in a license race, and did a good job. She ran well and crossed the finish line first of all. A good experience for her 👏
