Maggie is the kindest almost even kinder than Latifah was and how can that be because Latifah was extremely kind.
Maggie has a kind and calm personality but she loves to show off and run fast and jump around.

Summer is coming to an end and autumn is around the corner.
It has been a calm and peaceful summer for us.
We have been given a time to reflect.
It has been needed by everything that happened earlier this year with Queen Latifah CA.
Being allowed to stop when everyday life can be a lot to do sometimes.
To sit down so the soul catches up.
We are all in a much better place and we are doing very well.

It has been more than 20 years since I bought my first Straight Egyptian Arabian Horse.
My first Straight Egyptian Arabian Horse was a black filly.
Her sire was The Verdict HG (Thee Desperado x Belle Staar), full brother to The Vision HG.
This filly's grandfather was Ansata el Salaam (Ansata Ibn Shah x Ansata Samantha).

Straight Egyptian Arabian Horses are my true passion.
My love for the Straight Egyptian Arabian Horse has been with me since my beginnings with horses.
I fell in love with their intelligence and their beauty.
The more I read about them, the more I wanted to know.
I have spent years gathering the knowledge needed to create my stud and breeding program.
The vision is to breed Straight Egyptian Arabian Horses who are elegant not only in their movements but also in their essence, to have a detailed beauty and classical look.

Straight Egyptians, these Arabian horses have a historical and breeding background of hundreds of years.
It is the means by which Bedouin horse breeding tribes identifi ed the ancestry and authenticity of their Arabian horses. Strain names represent the female line of descent regardless of the sire line.
All living purebred Arabian Horses worldwide are Straight Egyptians a rare and historic subgroup comprising less than 5% of all purebred Arabians.

My foundation mares are Amira Al Halima CA and Magic Moon (Maggie).

Amira Al Halima CA is from the strain Dahmah Shahwaniya - El Dahma/Farida Family.

Farida (Saklawi II x Nadra el Saghira) of the El Dahma family was a excellent broodmare, dam to mare Futna (Shahloul x Farida) and to the mare Ragia (Ibn Rabdan x Farida).
Futna is the female line to the famous Straight Egyptian stallion Anaza el Farid (Ruminaja Ali x Bint Deenaa),
who is the sire to the Egyptian-related Worldwinner Gazal al Shaqab.

Ragia is the dam to the mare Halima (Sheikh el Arab x Ragia), who is the dam to the famous Straight Egyptian stallion Ansata Ibn Halima (Nazeer x Halima).
Farida is also the dam to the mare Bint Farida (Mansour x Farida), it is from this mare the female line is in Amira Al Halima CA.
Abla (Nazeer x Helwa) is in the female line also to Amira Al Halima CA and Abla is grandchild to Bint Farida.
Abla was a superior broodmare and is in the famous and successful Anter/Abla cross which was popular with the Egyptians.

Queen Sheeba is the dam to Amira Al Halima CA and is fullsister to Queen Latifah CA,
Queen Sheeba is to the dam of the Egyptian Event 2006 Straight Egyptian Senior Champion Mare Farreesa CA by Farres (Anaza El Farid x Shameerah).
Minstrils Gabriela is the dam to Queen Latifah CA and Queen Sheeba and grandmother to Amira Al Halima CA.
Minstrils Gabriela became Class A Halter Champion; 1992 Egyptian Event, Third Place World Class Fillies.

Amira Al Halima CA is a daughter to Ansata Sheikh Halim, his pedigree is of royal lineage.
Ansata Sheikh Halim is a son the famous stallion Ansata Hejazi and Ansata Sheikh Halim's dam is one of the most beautiful daughters of the famous chestnut beauty, Ansata Samantha.
Both sire and dam tail female lines to Ansata Bint Bukra (strain. Dahmah Shahwaniya - Sabah/Bukra Family), Sheikh Halim is also a maternal and paternal great grandson to the legendary Ansata Ibn Halima.

Magic Moon is a great-grandchild of the famous The Vision HG.

*Al Lahab GASB, *Al Maraam, Al Hadiyah AA, Al Raheb AA, and Al Ayal AA.

The Verdict HG is a fullbrother to The Vision HG.
My own breeding FLM Verdi has awarded The WAHO Trophy and FLM Verdi sire is The Verdict HG.
FLM Verdi has Championtitels from A and B shows from Norway, Sweden and Denmark as a c**t.
He became Nordic Show Cup Champion junior of his success.
Got the titel The Arabian Horse of the year in Show 2007 in Sweden.
FLM Verdi is active competing in dressage today in MsvA:1 and FEI Prix St:Georges.
He has also the titels The Arabian Horse of the year in dressage 2015 and 2016 in Sweden.
And 2017 he got the title Elite arabian horse in Sweden.
2024, FLM Verdi got awarded the WAHO Trophy.

Magic Moons dam Valentina AA, her sire is Ali Valentino (Ruminaja Ali x Moniet) is a top sire with an elite stallion title. Ali Valentino is a multiple champion himself and the sire of several international champions.
Valentina AA dam Al Baraqai AA (Baahir x The Vision HG), her sire is the legendary TOP 5 world champion Baahir (Ibn el Mareekh x GF Nasra Bataa).

Magic Moons sire is Kays Al Baidaa (Jamil Al Rayyan x Kareemah SAQR) is Gold Champion Junior c**t at Straight Egyptian World Championship and Gold Champion Yearling c**t at Egyptian Event Europe.
Kays Al Baidaa sire Jamil Al Rayyan is Reserve Junior Champion c**t at the 2008 Egyptian National Show.
Jamil Al Rayyan traces in both female lines to the "grand matron of champions", Ansata Delilah, the grandmother of the great Ansata Hejazi and dam of the celebrated Ansata Samantha, of the renowned (strain. Dahmah Shahwaniya - Sabah/Bukra Family). He is also a grandson of Ruminaja Ali's full brother Alidaar.

I feel blessed to have this opportunity to own such precious mares.
Amira Al Halima CA and Magic Moon (Maggie) are from very special and unique strains.
I see it with great importance that the foals these mares get, there should be a lot of thought in how I choose a stallion for these mares.
The stud is only producing a small scale of foals due to the attitude of only choosing carefully picked individuals that will help bringing the vision of correct breeding further.

These unique mares are my vision and focus is to preserve this Straight Egyptian Arabian Horse family while continuing to breed these lines into the future.

My own breeding FLM Verdi has awarded The WAHO Trophy!!!! 🏆🥇
and tomorrow, June 13, is FLM Verdi's birthday and turns 18.

It feels fantastic that I am the breeder of a horse that has received this fine award from World Arabian Horse Organization.
Being a small breeder and having the opportunity to experience this, feels incredible.

FLM Verdi has Championtitels from A and B shows from Norway, Sweden and Denmark as a c**t.
He became Nordic Show Cup Champion junior of his success.
Got the titel The Arabian Horse of the year in Show 2007 in Sweden.

FLM Verdi is active competing in dressage today in MsvA:1 and FEI Prix St:Georges.
FLM Verdi also has many fine placements in jumping, speed, terrain and polebending, so the track record is long!
He has also the titels The Arabian Horse of the year in dressage 2015 and 2016 in Sweden.
And 2017 he got the title Elite arabian horse in Sweden.

FLM Verdi has had several offspring that are now showing themselves well on the racetracks.
FLM Verdi is bred by Frida L. Mattsson, owned by Agneta Strandberg and trainer is Eva Palmaer.

Magic Moon (Maggie) is two years old this year.
Maggie has a lot to learn because she is very little handled.
I will spend a lot of time training Maggie this summer.
I have raised young horses before and this will go very well.
Maggie is a very nice horse in many areas and has fine qualities.
What impresses me the most is her psyche.
Fantastic personality, simply a wonderful horse.

I want to tell you that Friday May 24, 2024 was Queen Latifah CA's birthday, she would have turned 21 years old.
I was looking forward to celebrating her on her birthday but it didn't happen that way.
This post will probably be the last post I have a chance to write about her.
The two pictures below are the first two pictures I got when I was going to buy her.

Latifah's death has given me a different perspective on what I will do with my horses in the future.
One thing is clear, I want to breed and develop Straight Egyptians.
But old ideas have come back a lot because of Magic Moon as well.
The idea I had with Latifah and Amira has changed to something else.

The idea I have is a good idea, but sometimes the basis of the idea needs to be redone in order to continue forward.
It does not mean that I have denied or forgotten the idea and plan I had but,
Letting go does not mean you have given up and it does not mean you no longer care.
It just means that you are releasing the attachments of the past that keep getting in the way of your happiness and mental clarity.
Letting go is the unbinding and disentangling of old behavior patterns that keep pulling you into unnecessary mental tension and worry.
When you can be okay with things not having gone a certain way, Life Begins again.
Making Peace with the past opens you up to love, adventures and allows you to apply the lessons you have learned with a new calmness.

Latifah will always be with us on the journey.
I named my stud farm after Queen Latifah CA.
Latifah is the female form of Latif.
Latif the masculine form originating from Arabic.
The name means Means "gentle, kind" in Arabic.
It was a very good description of how Latifah was, gentle and kind.
That's why I thought the name was so fitting because that's how I see the Arabian horse, gentle and kind.

This is the last Sunday in May this year and in June I continue with my horses with the goals I have.
Last year I had a summervacation from Facebook but this year I will continue as usual posting every Sunday all summer and continue to do so for the rest of the year.

As I have written in a previous post (April 14, 2024) about Sedaya that I lost.
Already at a young age, I had a very clear picture of what I wanted to achieve.
Even if Sedaya passed away, I must then take the step to continue life.

I wanted to achieve my goal and my first breeding was FLM Verdi, is a black Egyptian-related stallion and his sire is The Verdict HG.

FLM Verdi has Championtitels from A and B shows from Norway, Sweden and Denmark as a c**t.
He became Nordic Show Cup Champion of his success.
Got the titel The Arabian Horse of the year in Show 2007 in Sweden.
FLM Verdi is active competing in dressage today in MsvA:1 and FEI Prix St:Georges.
He has also the titels The Arabian Horse of the year in dressage 2015 and 2016 in Sweden.
And 2018 he got the title Elite arabian horse in Sweden.

With knowledge and goals, you get a strong picture of what you need to achieve the goal.
The thought always came back to Sedaya who passed away in 2005 with the ideas and plans I had then.

Now that I have been given the opportunity with Magic Moon and while having Amira Al Halima CA from before, the energy I had for my vision has returned like an old dear friend.
It has taken me back about 19 years but I am still here in the present.
I had a dream that was created when I was little.
I have been given a second chance.
And I know that this is right, I feel it in my body, you know, you know.

However, I had wished that Queen Latifah CA could have been on this journey.
But again now Latifah has passed away, I have to take the step to continue life.

Having said that, I want to tell you never give up and keep going. Dare to dream and dare to achieve them.
With hard work and faith, you have great opportunities to succeed. If you fall on the road, get up and keep going and if you fall again, you get up again and again. I have gotten up every time and no matter how hard the fall has been, I have always gotten up and kept going.
You got this.

When I was little I lived on a farm with my parents. We had cows, sheep, turkeys and chickens.
We also had dogs and cats, my mother was a breeder.
Animals have always been around me, it would feel very strange not to have any animals in my life.
I wrote in previous posts about my speech difficulties. (post April 14, 2024)
My parents strongly felt that I needed to have a hobby in which I could develop and feel the independence to take care of myself.
Horses became the choice because I didn't need to talk and not be constantly reminded that I couldn't speak.
I could only be in the moment as I was.

Around horses you don't have to speak at all, it's the body language that is the language.
The interest in horses grew bigger and bigger with the pace as I became better at handling horses.
Because I lived in an environment that was a lot about breeding due to my mother's interest, it became a matter of course for me to combine it with my interest in horses.

Straight Egyptian Arabian Horses are my true passion.

Magic Moon (Maggie) has been here with us for 3 months now.
I did not think that I would be completely taken by her personality in such a short time.
Maggie is an absolutely wonderful horse.
She is a young horse, you can tell, and has an incredible amount to learn.
But her character is one of the few, Maggie is a very charming and intelligent girl.

As I have written in a previous post (April 14, 2024) about Sedaya that I lost. Already at a young age, I had a very clear picture of what I wanted to achieve. Even if Sedaya passed away, I must then take the step to continue life. I wanted to achieve my goal and my first breeding was FLM Verdi, is a black Egyptian-related stallion and his sire is The Verdict HG. FLM Verdi has Championtitels from A and B shows from Norway, Sweden and Denmark as a colt. He became Nordic Show Cup Champion of his success. Got the titel The Arabian Horse of the year in Show 2007 in Sweden. FLM Verdi is active competing in dressage today in MsvA:1 and FEI Prix St:Georges. He has also the titels The Arabian Horse of the year in dressage 2015 and 2016 in Sweden. And 2018 he got the title Elite arabian horse in Sweden. With knowledge and goals, you get a strong picture of what you need to achieve the goal. The thought always came back to Sedaya who passed away in 2005 with the ideas and plans I had then. Now that I have been given the opportunity with Magic Moon and while having Amira Al Halima CA from before, the energy I had for my vision has returned like an old dear friend. It has taken me back about 19 years but I am still here in the present. I had a dream that was created when I was little. I have been given a second chance. And I know that this is right, I feel it in my body, you know, you know. However, I had wished that Queen Latifah CA could have been on this journey. But again now Latifah has passed away, I have to take the step to continue life. Having said that, I want to tell you never give up and keep going. Dare to dream and dare to achieve them. With hard work and faith, you have great opportunities to succeed. If you fall on the road, get up and keep going and if you fall again, you get up again and again. I do a lot of groundwork with Amira. I think it is a very important part for further education. In this video the training is based on several tasks, Amira shall listen to my body language and to strengthen her body awareness. I want her to go between, over and stay over the cavaletti, it's to make her aware of details in her surroundings.
