Matcha, 10 years old male Persian cat (from Melbourne) up for adoption

- Sterilized
- Litter box trained
- Lived with other cats and tiny dogs before
- Mild temperament
- Allow grooming; brushing & trimming of furs & nails and ear cleaning
- Will purrs & knead you but doesn't like to be carried

Pic is taken straight after shower. Will get dirty shortly after weekly shower. Feed on half fresh chicken breast (from market) and can food daily. Cannot take plastic bowl (mouth ulcer), will have occasional diarrhoea when on dry food.
Reason for giving up as child needs special attention.

Thankful for this news on the last day of the decade!

Update on The Animal Lodge (TAL)

We have phased out the external managing agent for TAL and NParks will directly oversee the maintenance and upkeep of TAL.

There will be no change to the support provided to tenants and with this move, the monthly service and conservancy charges (S&CC) for all tenants will be reduced significantly. NParks will communicate with TAL tenants on this move.

This will help tenants lower their monthly payments at TAL. We recognise that the non-commercial tenants at TAL – the animal welfare groups (AWGs) and shelters – provide shelter and care for abandoned and stray animals before they are adopted. We are grateful for the services they have provided towards furthering animal welfare in Singapore. The reduction in S&CC will hopefully help our AWGs in managing their finances.

Further improvements are in store for TAL. NParks will work closely with the tenants. We will share more details when ready. Thank you.

*Brandy is missing*
Brandy has been missing since about 1am last night around jurong west ave 1.
Friend's father brought him for a walk and tied him to a railing near the ATM for a while to grab some stuff in Giant.
No more than 10 mins, Brandy was no where to be found. He tied a double knot so it can’t come loose.

Brandy is a good boy and will wait for him. He is super friendly to everyone even strangers.

*Brandy is a cream Pomeranian and is 14 years old. His eyesight is bad due to his age*

More of the event at Star Vista, been a pleasure working with APE! Some of these furbabies got adopted!

Families and fur-moms & dads had a great time at The Star Vista, interacting with dogs, cats & bunnies up for adoption, finding out more about pet rehabilitation, and also watching cats & dogs alike battling it out in our pet contests!

The night ended with a movie screening of the Secret Life of Pets, where families and pets lazed together for a movie under the stars.
