Did you know that some breeds, like French Bulldogs, Dachshunds, and German Shepherds, are more prone to IVDD (Intervertebral Disc Disease)?

IVDD is a spinal condition that happens when the cushioning discs between the vertebrae herniate or burst, putting pressure on the spinal cord. Many of the above breeds have genetic cartilage degeneration and conformation issues, making IVDD more likely.

It's time to recognise the early signs. Here's what to look out for:

- Arched back
- Reluctance to move
- Loss of coordination
- Crossing of legs while walking
- Shivering or stiffness
