Did you know that a key aspect of any training programme is rest and recovery?
Our bodies need progressive overload, recovery, and proper nutrition to get bigger, better, stronger, faster. This applies to our dogs too.
The aspect of rest and recovery is very often overlooked because our dogs are always raring to go. We won’t go into the specifics of training splits here because there really isn’t a right or wrong; everything is down to the individual.
However the one thing that is absolutely crucial across all breeds/lines is rest. Over-training is easily accomplished, over-resting (while possible) is more difficult to achieve.
TLDR: let them take breaks between workout/training sessions or training days!

This time we bring you to the Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD) located in the east of the island.
Pros:
- Barely a soul (human and animal) during the weekends
- Big, open spaces to use a long line
- Good mix of sheltered and unsheltered areas
- Refreshments available through vending machines
- Ample parking
Cons:
- Not ideal if you stay in the west (east side best side)
Additionally you have the entire Changi Business Park at your disposal and that place on the weekends is like a scene from the film 28 Days Later.
