It's simple, really. We want better for our dogs. Our animal companions deserve REAL FOOD.

All bakes are dog-safe and handcrafted with honest ingredients because nothing beats home-made. As dog lovers ourselves, we would never willingly choose chemical additives and artificial preservatives over home-baked nutrition - we try to keep our prices affordable, so that better quality treats can be accessible to as many canine companions as possible. With simple recipes, premium ingredients, a

nd small-batch bakes which are hand-cut and mixed from scratch, this is as close as it gets to making your pup's fav dog-safe treats yourself (minus all the hassle)! A portion of sales proceeds goes towards animal shelters and rescue work.

Throwback to Pawpaw.sg’s Festive High Tea event at on the 18th this month, where pawrents created fond (and delicious) memories with their lucky doggos!

The hoomans enjoyed sweet and savoury bites from Wildseed Cafe featuring delights such as Spiced Pear and Chestnut Tea Cake, Turkey Ham, and Cranberry Croissants… while the doggies were treated to House of Muttcakes’ freshly baked Pork Pupcakes containing only human grade ingredients such as lean meat, broccoli, carrots, and oats, plus topped with pretty mashed potato rosettes 😍

Annnddd in the blink of an eye, Alfie turns 2! Alfie’s Barkday Muttcake last year was a 300g Dripcake Delight… he’s older and bigger now, so he’s upgraded to a 500g Signature Pork Muttcake. His mama says he loved the handcrafted K9 Kookies (they were freshly baked with our Nuts About Bananas recipe, featuring… lots of fresh bananas 🍌!) 😆

So happy to have finally met the pretty Barkday girl and to have spent some time with her today 💓 Jelly’s guardians took her swimming and spoiled her silly with all her favourite treats 🥰

This doggy holds a special place in our hearts… many moons ago, we first saw Kafu and his siblings (then named Juday and Letif) at the shelter… they were weak, malnourished pups covered from head to toe with mange. It was heartbreaking.

Shelter staff shared that their blood work results were dismal and their glucose levels were severely low, but they were not responding well to having IV drips inserted. The clinic advised supporting their weakened state of health with nutritious food made with honey to help these rescue pups get stronger naturally, so we doubled down and baked them nutritious pork+broccoli-filled Muttloafs and Manuka Honey-drenched Barkwa to feed their hungry little bellies, in the hopes of encouraging them to start eating well so that they could get stronger…

Over time, they did 😊 With extra TLC from the staff (one of whom made the effort to feed them with daily home-cooked meals), Kafu and his siblings were nursed back to health. Each of them went to different foster homes and were eventually adopted.

The universe works in amazing ways to bring us moments of joy - we’d never met Kafu’s guardian prior to this so imagine our pleasant surprise when coincidentally, she got in touch with us to put in an order for Kafu’s 1st barkday! Kafu isn’t a common name so we put two and two together and realised that this was the very same puppy from the shelter!

We are over the moon to know that Kafu is so loved by his forever family 💕 Happy Barkday ! May you always be surrounded by love and good food! 🐾

His lovely mama got him a fruit-topped Naked Number Muttcake two days before this, as a Barkday Pawty treat for Floyd and his cute furiends at daycare (check out the previous post to see the sweet Barkday boy with his other fruit-topped Naked Number Barkday Muttcake). 🤍

Floyd has been with us for over a year (he gets a monthly subscription bag of handcrafted treats delivered to him in the middle of each month)! Each time we visit him, he’s always so happy and waggy! Floyd sparks joy! ✨

Completely pampered on my 9th birthday! A big thank you to for this beautifully decorated cake, the incredibly yummy barkday treats specially made for me and the sweet notecard!! Half a packet of pork bakwa cheaps are already in my belly 😆!! My mama said my cake looked better than her own birthday cake too 🤣!!

🤍 EVERY DOG & CAT IS LOVED 🤍

Today, we’ll like to share a little story. 🤍

You see, about half a year back, a big hearted gentleman (and his lovely wife) wanted to do something nice for the shelter animals at Mutts & Mittens Community. A food donation for 40 dogs and 6 cats was made through House of Muttcakes.

This gentleman made sure that each animal had its own stash of K9 Kookies, human-grade quality Pork Jerky Chips, and freshly baked Pupcakes.

We baked our hearts out that day. My heart was so full at the end of it. 🤍

But that wasn’t even the best bit because guess what… through the food donation, Casa, a three-legged doggy, got adopted and found his forever home with the kind gentleman’s family! 🤍

Casa wasn’t born a tripawd - he was rescued as a stray puppy, with his mum - but his leg had been caught in a trap and sadly, it got so infected that the entire limb had to be amputated.

For the next 12 years, Casa spent his days at the shelter, loved and cared for by its staff and volunteers… but left behind as he watched the others around him get adopted, one by one. Still, no one came for him - not until last November, when a vid of Casa digging into his Pupcake, was shared with the kind gentleman. Unknown to Casa that day, his life would soon change! 🤍

Today, some shelter animals were treated to another round of freshly handcrafted, human-grade quality treats.

Today, we baked our hearts out again!

But best of all, today, Casa has a furever home to call his own and a family who loves him to bits (his siblings include two doggy sisters and three kitties!) 🤍

Today is a good day!!! 🌻

Adorable Pammie turned 6 this week with a delicious Signature Pork Muttcake, topped with a Giant K9 Kookie Paw + her name spelled out in K9 Kookie letters!

Pammie’s Barkday Muttcake recipe was adapted to ensure that no known food allergens were used in its ingredients (Pammie’s lovely mama told us that she’s allergic to chicken, eggs and even eggshell powder).

A special order Gotcha Day Beef Muttcake for a special girl 🖤
cola.1.2.3 found her furever home a year ago and her wonderful humans wanted to celebrate her with something special! Pepsi’s mama shared that she’s estimated to be around 4 years old, and even though no one knows Pepsi’s actual barkday, her family wanted to make the day extra special for their furkiddo 🖤

Unlike our usual Muttcakes that are topped with handcrafted K9 Kookies, Pepsi’s name was made of Apple-baked Ham - a special little touch for Pepsi as her mama told us that she loves meat and isn’t accustomed to consuming other foods.

Sending lots of love and hugs to this gentle girl who’s living her best life with pawrents who love her to the moon and back 🖤

Turning 1 is always special! 🥳 Iman’s mama celebrated her special day with an upsized XL Salmon Number 1 Muttcake, topped with custom-baked K9 Kookies which spelled out Iman’s beautiful name.

PS: Iman has pretty chocolate brown markings behind both her ears - they look soooo fluffy and feathery! They aren’t quite visible in her Barkday Muttcake photo here (but they’re obvious in other pics on her page - really pretty!) 🖤

Peanut the cutie turned 4 this week! To celebrate him, Peanut’s lovely mama got him a Beef Signature Muttcake to share with his sister, Hazel! Both Peanut and Hazel were lovingly adopted from 🤎🤍

When we saw Peanut and Hazel for the first time, we couldn’t help but be reminded of our always-greedy Labradors, Arwen and Baileys, sisters who were born six months apart. Arwen and Baileys lived full and happy lives till they were 17 and 17.5 years old (swipe to the last photo to see their resemblance to Peanut and Hazel!) There isn’t a day that goes by when we don’t miss them, but we know that they’ll always be right here with us, safely locked away in our heartspace 🤎🤍

There’s nothing more critical for a dog’s welfare than the ability to engage in natural behaviours like using their nose! Sniffing decreases cortisol levels and stimulates the mind, thus lowering a dog’s stress levels and enabling it to be calmer.
