Karen is the Co-Founder and Director, as well as Principal Animal Rehabilitation Practitioner of Gaia Wholistic Animal Wellness Singapore. She started her Animal Rehabilitation Journey in 2016 as the pioneer Practitioner in SG. She strongly advocates the education of integrative healing, where the pet’s emotional and mental state, as well as physical well-being have to come hand in hand for a complete and well-balanced healing journey.

With 13th year of medical experience for animals, she is facilitating animal rehabilitation as part of physical health healing for pre/post-surgery recovery as well as preventive treatment for chronic conditions. Dr. Sara Lam graduated with Bachelor of Veterinary Science from the University of Sydney in 2012. She is a Certified Canine Rehabilitation Therapist (CCRT) and a Certified Veterinary Acupuncturist (CVA). During the time working as a general practitioner in both Australia and Singapore, she had developed a strong passion in geriatric, post-operative and palliative care. These are areas often neglected in conventional veterinary clinic settings.

Dr K. Rajaram graduated from Murdoch University more than a decade ago and has since worked with small animals, farm animals, birds, wildlife, exotic pets, and freshwater and saltwater fish. His experience with avians and wildlife stems from his time working at Jurong Bird Park’s veterinary department and as a volunteer zookeeper at the Mandai Zoo.
Dr K actively spends his time out of the clinic to help various non-profit groups such as ACRES, Cause for Animals Singapore (CAS), Purely Adoptions, and several other organizations. During his time abroad, he had training to dart animals for medical intervention and has since continued to use his skills in Singapore to help organizations with their various rescue cases. Upon discovering his interest in internal medicine & alternative therapies, he returned to Singapore to open his very own clinic in 2012 & has since managed to learn and utilize ozone therapy in pets for numerous difficult-to-manage ailments. He was the founder & director of ‘The Pet Doctors Veterinary Clinic’ and they have since merged with Animal Wellness Centre.

Lucia has always known that animals play a very important role in our lives. She realized that often they help us with our healing (on both a physical and emotional level). She learned more about this when she attended several courses on Animal Assisted Therapy/Activity while still living in Holland.

In 2005 Lucia moved to Singapore and in 2008 she came across a healthcare modality called BodyTalk which is a type of energy therapy that addresses the body/mind complex. It is based on the body’s ability to heal itself at all levels – physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual. That same year she became a Certified practitioner for both people and animals.
Throughout the years Lucia has also been interested in Animal Communication. Since March 2015 Lucia is teaching a 3-day Animal Communication and Animal Consciousness Workshop called Linking Awareness Journey. In applying the different healing modalities Lucia has learned over the years, she helps facilitate physical, emotional, and mental “balance” in the lives of both animals and people.
