We have recently been made aware of several new rabbit grooming service providers offering inappropriate grooming practices for rabbits.

Unfortunately, there are currently no legal requirements for someone to be classified as a professional rabbit groomer, which leaves the responsibility of selecting a reputable service provider to you as the pet owner. It is essential that you thoroughly research any company you consider for your rabbitโ€™s grooming needs.

One simple guideline for rabbit owners to follow is to avoid any grooming services that involve wet baths or paw pad shaving. While such treatments are common for dogs and cats, they can be highly detrimental to a rabbitโ€™s health.

At The Moon Bunny, we do offer spot cleaning wet baths for medical cases, but this is only done under a veterinarianโ€™s guidance for intensive medical cases, such as when a rabbit is paralyzed. In most cases, a healthy rabbit does not require a wet bath.

All groomers at The Moon Bunny are personally trained by our co-founder, Dawn, who has been grooming rabbits since 2014. Each of our team members is highly skilled in rabbit care, handling, and grooming. To book an appointment and ensure your rabbit receives the proper care, please Whatsapp us at 88305772.
