This is a slow crop. After 2 months wait. Finally it is time to harvest.

Love the aroma of this plant.

Decided to order in excess so that I don’t run out of net pot while I am lazy to clean the used one.
I usually gather them and clean them in batches.

Was given this tiny plant by a friend. Honestly I have no idea such plant exist.

It’s leaves have a very aromatic rip passion fruit taste. I was told it is edible. Wondering if it is true.

I tried using the leaves as garnish to salad, it adds a very nice passion fruit flavor with slight bitterness.

There are always pros and cons in system.

Krakty system is really great for short term crops like leafy greens.

I like the simplicity and compactness of the system.

Day 40 mustard wasabina.

Well when I read the description of this mustard I was like no way it taste like wasabi.

Surprisingly it really do taste like wasabi with diluted spicyness.

All wasabi lower should give this mustard a try.
I am wondering if wasabi plant leaves taste like this mustard

Day 40 mustard red frill.

This mustard has almost artisan like leaves.
It doesn’t have the usual mustard thick leaves and the usual mustard taste.

It kind of taste like lettuce with a slight harder texture and has no sweet after taste.

Tada!!!!!!!

After 3 hours of drilling 48 holes, smoothing the edge and aluminum foil it.

2 sets of krakty system is ready to be deployed.

Each krakty system has 24 holes in it with 25L of water.

I know......I know. It is not ideal in-terms of plant to reservoir ration. I just have to top up more often😉😀😄😁😆☺️

Tuscany kale @ 5 weeks.

They don’t look like Thea typical Tuscany kale. Maybe the weather here is too warm for them.

This is what happen to you perfect hydroponic system when you add beneficiary bacteria that is not comparable with your system.

The bottle state that it is suitable for hydroponic system. Apparently not in my system.

It cause all my crop to die and it choke the pump with biomass

It is a total disaster.

Wondering how long will it take to harvest and how it taste like.

Shungiku 春菊。

Second time growing this veg. They are a slow grower. After a month, they are only this small.

In 5-6 week should be able to harvest. Love the aroma of this veg. Goes very well with a soup dish.

Sharing some love with fellow gardener.

Starting seeds can be frustrating at time. Sometime you get good germination ending up with too many seedling. Sometime you get low germination, ending with insufficient seedling.

That is why there is a market for seedling. People tend to skip the troublesome part and enjoy the fruit of high growth and joy of harvest.

Chye sim- Asian green🌱🍀☘️

After 2 harvest. It is time to change the crop. Although home grown Chye sim is smaller compared to store bought ones. But they are a lot crunchier and taste sweeter.

Sweet basil and gourmet basil.

Rooting some basil to replace the older batch.

Sweet basil is good for cooking and pesto.

When it come to salad I prefer the gourmet basil as their aromas are mild. I feel sweet basil taste is a slightly overwhelming. 😉

Easter egg radish

I have seen some friend have success in germinating Easter egg in tropical weather.

They grow to about 1 inch in diameter and mature in 45 days.

I only get 10% germination rate. Let’s work with this sole survival.

Knowing that they do not like transplant. Let’s give it a try.

Having a first flush. They started off very pink, as they grow they loose the color.
