Trying to grow some carrot in pots for the first time. I planted the carrot for 6 months and that is the size i get. Pretty disappointing, consider it a failure.

Trying to figure out what is wrong here. The leaf is very healthy, but the roots dont grow and with a lot of hairs.

They had form a bush. This area is pretty shady and I am surprise they are doing well there.

The benefit of growing native plants, is they are very resistant and pest resistant by nature.

Got so wood shaving form a local carpenter shop.

These are great mulch for the soil. Reduce w**d growth, reduce evaporation, protect micro-organism from the strong sun, after they breakdown, they contribute to the soil’s organic matter and a lot more benefit.
