*FRIDAY NIGHT LIVE*

Pet A&E is getting a run of stomach and oesophageal foreign bodies tonight. The team is just getting their funk on and getting the job done. Ribbons and chicken bones tonight!

You might think the Pet A&E team are striking sexy poses here but it’s just that sometimes we get into each other’s personal spaces and do squats while trying to save our patients! Dr Thian was trying to shimmy into Nurse Jane’s space and it’s tickling her pink! Just as well we like our work family!

Happy pupper, happy surgeon! 🥳

Sweet Kohmi, the Italian Greyhound puppy, came to us with a left radius and ulna fracture. After a surgery to plate the fracture, she has made an excellent recovery! Her recent check-up indicated the fracture has healed nicely, and she’s back to full puppy mode!

Thank you to Kohmi’s family for trusting us with her care. Here’s to many more happy, healthy adventures ahead! ✨

Lucas, our ever humorous emergency nurse, is checking Mia’s vitals. Just the night before, Mia presented to Pet A&E collapsed and was bleeding into her abdomen from a ruptured tumour. She was dangerously anaemic and her blood pressure was tanking. She was stabilized and went to emergency surgery that night.
By the next day, after surgery, she bounced back and was wagging and walking around the wards. She has since gone home to continue her recovery. Way to go, Mia!

Dr Prakash(internal medicine) looking over her patient, a dog with a mass in the chest. Dr Kan(radiology) is using ultrasound guidance to biopsy the mass in a safe, non-invasive manner. Jane, our senior nurse is monitoring anaesthesia.

It takes a village-the saying goes-of highly trained and compassionate individuals to do a biopsy in a tricky spot.

Beyond the treatment door, many pairs of hands and hearts work together to give our patients the best outcome possible.
