Help Tanya 🐾 Fight Babesia Gibsoni

Tanya, Baby J and Thisen were three months old when they were rescued by TRTL in Loyang in August 2019. They were brought to Stars Veterinary Clinic and treated for tick fever (Babesia gibsoni). They were hospitalised for 3 weeks.

Tanya had a relapse for Babesia gibsoni on 10th August 2022.
She was hospitalised for 6 days at United Veterinary Clinic.
We are appealing for help with her medical bills which amounted to $4,121.89.

In 2015, Bishan was caught by AVA in Bishan Park together with her 6 puppies who were about 2 weeks old.
She surrendered herself because her puppies were taken from her and placed in the sun. 3 of them died that
day and 3 were in critical condition. If not for the medical attention and home care, Burrito, Sesame and Zoe
would not have survived. Bishan is now 9 years old and her children are 7 years old. Recently, there was a kennel
cough outbreak in The Animal Lodge. Many dogs in the various shelters caught it. Bishan was one of them and
unfortunately her condition was very serious. She had to be hospitalised for 16 days and had to be on oxygen support and
nebulization therapy every day. Her medical bill came up to $5599.02. We are appealing for assistance to help pay this bill.

Kenjie was discharged from the hospital on 8th March. He is currently in the shelter. His ulcers and toe infection have healed. The Vet will review him in 2 weeks' to determine if he can proceed with the hernia surgery.
My most appreciated thanks to everyone. You have motivated me in caring for the helpless.
Will keep everyone updated again.

“We took Arnold in from another shelter. It was Jan 2015. He was about 18 months old. Both his hind legs were lame. Arnold was rescued by a stray feeding couple in the Jurong area. Both his hind legs were crushed by falling planks when he was a puppy. Arnold was gnawing both his hind legs as if they were wood. It was then that we decided on the double amputation.. The procedure was in July 2015. It has been challenging taking care of Arnold but there is a sense of satisfaction and achievement.⁣
