I am delighted to partner with Epson and the ASEAN Fashion Designers Showcase to design a collection focusing on “Sustainability in Asia." Collectively, we promote sustainability through the eyes of fashion designers in the region.
My collection ‘A Tiny Garden in the Big City’ draws inspiration from Singapore's Gardens by the Bay, reflecting the balance between nature and urban life. The creative process involves incorporating the landmark into fabric design and garment silhouettes, capturing colours from the rainforest dome and daily light shows. Sustainability is woven into the collection by using fabrics from previous collections.
My prints are proudly sponsored by Epson, employing dye-sublimation digital textile printers to ensure colour accuracy, sharp detailing and impeccable quality that brings my creative vision to life. Upcycling suitable outfits while newly printed fabrics using Epson printers aim for zero waste and promote an eco-conscious approach in fashion design.
