Worst bun condition that I had encountered in my whole entire career.. whole body was full of tangled fur.. genital area tangled with pee and soft poo..
Worst was the tangled fur around her mouth area that got tangled to her overgrown teeth.. I really have no idea how long she hasn’t been eating and drinking well..
We have to clip her overgrown teeth in order to remove the tangled from her mouth.. After removing the mess, we quickly bring the water bottle to her and she drank for a good 5 mins siting on my lap.. 😢😢
And finally cleaning up the genital area from all the tangled pee poo stained fur, we can see from her face she is finally in comfort.. Dun wan to stress her further, we quickly put her back in her cage and put lots of hay right in front of her and immediately she started eating.. And that’s when we all feel that relief right away!!
So lucky she got no sign of GI.. we were so sorry that she might not wana eat or drink.. but ya she is such a brave and strong girl!! Still I do not think she is out of critical condition so I suggest bringing to the vet is still necessary!!
Pray that she will go on strong and I’ll see her again soon!!
A delicate masterpiece done for my Hubby’s friend, Jonathan.. His German Shepherd passed away a few years back.. After knowing that now I have this Fur Keeping services, he immediately requested to help him with Ligo‘s fur..
There are 2 parts to Ligo’s fur.. One part is where it was trimmed off at the vet after his passing.. The other part was what Jonathan vacuumed from his whole room to get whatever that’s left of Ligo as he just wish to keep every parts of Ligo with him.. For many years, the fur was just kept siting inside the plastic bag till it was passed to me..
Carefully picking out each strand of fur from the vacuumed mess and putting them together was no easy job.. After some hard work, I managed to get enough amount for me to work on..
Nearly 2 weeks of work, I finally managed to get the whole display assembled and ready..
Now Ligo is ready to go home!!
This is a video of my work progress and also lastly a little memory of Ligo..
*Being a pet owner is never easy.. Especially when it’s time for them to go.. No matter after how many years.. you will never be able to forget them.. Zaizai, 13 years has passed.. Even till now mummy is still missing you a lot.. And now I’m so regretful at why I din even think of keeping your fur or anything.. But dun worry.. 你永远活在我的记忆里.. 不会不见的.. 仔仔，妈咪好想你……
