We managed to harvest and sort out some of our better quality local bred Thai bloodline ranchu this week (video).

Of course, we are showcasing our Japanese import of Takao Tosai and Ando Tosai ranchus too. Come see how much they have grown and changed!

The second and final shipment of Japanese Ranchu for this year has completed quarantine and acclimatization.

Main focus this opening:

🔴Japanese Ranchus from Ranchu Masters Takao San and Ando San

🔴Japanese Jikins

🔴Japanese Tosakin

If timing and space permit, we may display some Chinese ranchus, local bred Ranchu and Thai bloodline Orandas etc.

Day #9 of quarantine. We can now safely increase feeding to beef them up. Stay tune to our channel and see how these Takao bloodline coloured babies transform in the next couple of weeks.

Our last shipment of goldfish for year 2024 from Japan arrived today.

Our SOP (Standard Operating Procedure) is minimum 7 full days of quarantine and acclimatization after arrival. Usually we will do an extra 2 to 3 weeks to toughen and beef them up a little more.

We will post more updates and ready sales announcement in due time 🙏😃

The same basin is gradually becoming more crowded for the baby Ranchus as the days go by. 😅

Bulking up in body and head beautifully, we can now focus more on coloration. The Japanese technique is patient with color; it must be built up gradually with quality and natural feeds + good water quality to avoid damaging the internal organs.

We still have many baby ranchus with nice color patterns because they arrive as black baby Ranchu that has not changed color. Breeders may charge a higher premium for color patterns and may be reluctant to sell them, especially if they are good specimens exhibiting beautiful patterns.😉
