*HOW TO TREAT RINGWORM*
Ringworm, a fungal infection, spreads by contact with the spores of the fungus. People and animals are susceptible to this infection, which manifests itself as ring-shaped skin lesions. Even after the person or pet has recovered from the ringworm infection, the spores can stay active in the home for up to 18 months, which can cause additional infections. To decontaminate your home after a ringworm infection, perform a thorough cleaning.
Step 1
Vacuum the entire home. The ringworm fungus can survive on dead skin cells and hair. Steam clean the carpets, drapes and upholstery.
Step 2
Wash all bedding and similar items that the infected person or animal used.
Step 3
Mix a cleaning solution of 1 part bleach and 10 parts water. Use this solution to scrub the pet carriers, kennels, toys and similar items of infected pets. Allow the bleach solution to remain on all surfaces for 10 minutes to kill the spores. Rinse all items thoroughly.
If bleach is not available, look for F10 disinfectant
Step 4
Clean combs and brushes after each use with the bleach solution.
Step 5
SHAVE ALL THE FUR.
Fungal spores stay on the fur making it longer to treat.
Wash with medicated anti fungal shampoo once week . Soak Atleast 10 minutes before rinsing. Then spray with nano Colloidal silver 3-5 times a day . The treatment takes 3-4 weeks if the instructions are followed properly.

Why do some cats turn aggressive when being groomed?
Many cats don’t mind being groomed at all, but with others, it can be a real challenge! Some cats may not enjoy being handled either because they are not used to it, because they find it painful (for example, cats with lots of tightly matted fur or older cats with sore joints from osteoarthritis) or because they have had a bad experience in the past. Unfortunately, this can lead to some cats becoming very matted, especially if they have long or thick fur.
Cats are often not submissive and will either try and run or will fight. If your cat lashes out aggressively and you (or the groomer) have understandably backed off, then this will inadvertently reward the behavior. Your cat has learned that by fighting you will leave her alone, so next time she sees you approaching her with a brush she will react aggressively again.

Because fear responses are among the more common causes of aggression, we will address them here. Any cat will try to defend itself if it feels threatened. Fearful animals engage in the fight-or-flight response. If cornered, most cats choose escape, or “flight,” over “fight.” However, if not allowed to leave, the cat will fight, which may involve biting and scratching. These are normal feline behaviors derived from predator-avoidance behaviors.
The fight or flight response includes the Four Fs:

😻 Freeze—the cat “freezes,” crouching and becoming immobile. This immobility usually occurs at the beginning of the trigger stimulus or when the trigger stimulus is relatively low. This behavior is common in cats at the veterinary hospital, and it frequently expedites the examination.
😻 Flight—the cat actively avoids the trigger stimulus. For example, the cat may dart into a corner or under a chair to keep from being picked up.
😻 Fight—the cat exhibits defensive aggression to avoid or back away from a frightening stimulus. For example, when the veterinarian reaches for a cat that is cowering at the back of a cage, the cat may become aggressive to protect itself.
😻 Fiddle or fidget—the cat engages in a displacement activity, such as grooming, when faced with a fear-eliciting stimulus. Although the cat wishes to avoid the stimulus, it cannot do so.
