We offer medical grooming services for your beloved cats. Physical restraint is not used, so your pet is comfortable and experiences minimal to no pain/ distress.
A 4 hour fasting period is required in most instances.

**Price for baseline grooming (includes hair clipping, nail trim, a**l gland expression, ear clean and shower) is S$75 before GST. Last registration time is 4 pm.

We would like to take a moment to share with you what your feline companion can expect on their arrival at our clinic.

A trip to the vet can be stressful for your kitty, which is why we take extra steps to make them feel comfortable. To help reduce their anxiety, we spray a towel with Feliway, a synthetic pheromone that mimics the calming scent of their mother's milk.

A brief physical examination followed by sedation allows us to prepare for surgery. The nails are trimmed and eyes protected using a hydrating gel.

After the procedure is completed, ears are checked for parasites or infections. Your pet is placed on a comfortable warming blanket to facilitate a smooth recovery.

Our priority is the well-being of your furry family member. We hope this provides some insight into what happens during their visit with us.

Meet our little patient who underwent a successful spay surgery today! Although she's tired, she's quite alert. Take a look at her incision and the protective bandage applied to cover it.
We advise pet parents to remove the bandage after 24-48 hours and bring her in for stitch removal in 2 weeks. To prevent licking of the surgical wound, we recommend using an e-collar or surgical suit. She will need plenty of rest in the next few days to ensure a smooth recovery.

Position - Veterinary Technician
Woodgrove Veterinary Services is looking for full-time veterinary technicians/nurses to join our team.

We are seeking an individual(s) who is kind, caring, and passionate about working with animals. He/she should be hardworking, committed, and willing to learn on the job with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work in a team.

Responsibilities:
• Assist and support veterinary staff during physical examinations and surgical procedures
• Handle and restrain a variety of companion animals for procedures
• Assist with running imaging and diagnostic equipment, including blood tests, urinalysis, and other pertinent lab tests
• Assist with receptionist duties and client communication
• Assist with maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene within the clinic premises

Prerequisites for application:
• Proficiency in English and Mandarin
Diploma and/or Degree in a related field
• Ability to handle and restrain animals
• Prior experience in the veterinary field would be advantageous
• Proficient in Microsoft applications

Remuneration:
$2500 to $3500 per month commensurate on experience and qualifications

Proper care for your furbabies after their sterilization is an important factor in their recovery journey, so let's take note of some important points! 🐾

Collar cone should be on for 2 weeks and the size of the cone should be twice the length of their snout. Surgical suit is another alternative for female cats sterilizations.

Separate them from their pet friends for 2 weeks to prevent any grooming or actions that will interfere with their sterilization wound.

Showering should not be done for 2 weeks & active playing should be kept minimal.

Bandages should be removed/replace after 1-2 days as any longer can cause skin abrasions.

Suture removal to be done 2 weeks later when sterilization wound is fully healed.

There are no special diet or restrictions on their diet and recovery generally goes smoothly as long as the aboved are well followed 🐾
