As these are competitive event, each signed up participant & dog team Get One Run Each.

This is going to be a memorable one for a wet National Day evening. Lots of running needed and much on point handling for today’s UKI/ SDAO Jumpers course by Mr Petr Pupik.
As always smooth n flowy, u can’t be lazy n not run with his lovely course.

Quincy did not disappoint. It was nice having a new softer turf ground to run on, hence having the right choice of shoes did make a difference with less fatigue.

1st round abit rusty n messy, disconnected, got us a DQ as he’s over hyped all pump getting in the ring.
Got ourselves recalibrated after, we managed to get a good clean run on the 2nd round, with a 1st.
3rd round he became pretty sharp and connected, we were good until mid course, and me unknowingly lift up of an arm gave Greyboy a misled signal to go off course n thereafter got a DQ. So it’s fair haha. One on him One on me & we got a 1st place together.

Looking forward for tomorrow’s Speedstakes, hopefully the weather be nice n dry. May good luck be with us! Amen 🙏 for he listens n be connected ❤️‍🔥

If you have always wanted to learn more and experience Agility Dogsports with your dogs. Come on over on 17th & 18th August weekend and join the fun for FREE!

This is a collaborative project from Smartdoggy Academy with JPG - Jurong Play Ground, to give back to society in Sg for the love of our dogs and let all dog owners have a good time with their dogs thru dog agility with quality international competitions standards dog agility obstacle equipments.

For those whose are already in the sports, you are welcome to join our Speedstakes Challenge and Tunnel match Challenge with prizes for the winners. (Details on the next post)

A pouring Sunday evening had us cancelled our Grade 1 Puppy agility yesterday. With a bit of weather luck, the sky managed to cleared after 6:30pm. Though it was humid after the rain with no breeze, when the Grade 2 & 3 students came in for class, all fun broke loose 😆 Set up a J3 course designed by Judge Laura Grosser, which I came across recently as a training subject for my classes, had a go at it, and boy! It’s one of those that will really open up the holes in your game with all the slicing n bypassing & a wicked weaver. Prayers were answered, couldn’t ask for better weather on Saturday’s UKI Speedstakes Trial. However I missed out on asking Lady Luck along 😂. Since now Quincy is on Senior champions class, that’s where the real deal kicks in. Absolutely charmed and humbled by the amazing courses put up by Judge Petr, a lot of take back from & this inspires me to refine Greyboy better for more.
