Luxe pets started in Sept 2013 located in Jurong west. We bring luxury and enjoyable service as we handle pets with our love and care giving them fully attention and great style. We fit all your needs from grooming, pets’necessities (food ,toy) to knowledge of pet care. We also practice ‘No Cage’ environment that no dogs will be kept in cage while waiting. We believe in good service will moves both customers and furfriends.

Hi everyone, our dearest yogurt (Japanese Spitz) is anemic and will need blood transfusions. Now admit for monitoring at
They require now any large breed dog, ideally 8 years and below, 30kg or more, never done blood transfusion before.

Please contact Landon Vet 64637228 if u can lend a helping hand or spread around to help.

Donor requirements:
- DEA 1.1 positive or negative (Yoghurt is dea 1.1 positive so she can receive blood from either blood type)
- Age 1 to 8 years old
- Up to date with heartworm and ticks prevention. Up to date with vaccination boosters / titre testing (lepto + core vaccinations)
- Male dogs or female dogs should not have been pregnant before
- Not on any long-term medication
- Never received blood transfusion / snake anti-venom before
- Weigh at least 20 kg
- Ideally a dog with friendly temperament and donor dogs' owner should be aware may require sedation for blood collection as the needle is huge and we need the donor dog to stay very still for at least 15 mins Procedure for blood donor:
- Give us a call to let us know what time the donor is coming down
- Should be fasted for at least 4 hours (no food)
- On arrival of donor dog, vet will perform physical examination + blood tests to check if donor is suitable to donate / compatible with Yogurt
- If everything ok then likely will sedate for blood collection which takes about 3 - 4h on average depending on how the donor recover from sedation / workflow of the emergency room
- Donor will receive intravenous fluids to replace the blood volume donated and will get lots of pats and cuddles (and treats if ok with owners) and can go home afterwards
