🚨URGENT🚨 Batman needs a blood donor! He is a rescued community cat that requires urgent blood transfusion to save his life. He is currently hospitalised with us, at Barkway Pet Health.

Requirements:
* Type A blood
* Good temperament and health
* Able to tolerate restraint and venipuncture (collection of blood from vein)
* 1 to 8 years old
* Weighs at least 5kg
* Male or nulliparous (never pregnant) female
* Up to date on vaccinations
* Not on any medications that could pose a problem for the patient
* FIV/FELV Negative

After being rescued by Animal Lovers League (ALL), Dr Bassie decided to pursue a degree in Veterinary Medicine (DVM) in Meow-bourne. Following the all-nighters that Dr Bassie pulled for 4 years, s/he graduated and came back to Singapore to work in a General Practice - Barkway Pet Health.

At Barkway, Dr Bassie is able to provide consultations, perform sterilisation, administer routine vaccinations, and so on.

Don’t worry if your furkid is not feline well. Just call the purr-medic at 69044300! Dr Bassie will be there to save the day 🫡

Our Head Veterinarian, Dr Kitten, graduated from University of Meow-bourne in 2009. Having spent some time in General Practice, she found herself drawn to Dermatology, Internal Medicine and Soft Tissue Surgery.

Notice your pet has red and/or itchy ears? Here are some ways we can investigate why they're doing so.

1. Otoscopy 👂🏼
A procedure where an otoscope is used to look inside the ears to assess the physical structures (e.g. swelling, redness).

2. Ear Cytology 🔬
A diagnostic test that allows us to investigate what is the cause of the ear infection using a microscope (e.g. yeast infection, bacterial infection).

With this, we’ll be able to dispense the right medication to diagnose and treat your furbaby. 🥰

A litter of American Curl kittens of Voices For Animals who've unfortunately been down with nasty bouts of diarrhea. Not to worry though, they've all been diagnosed/treated and toughing it through on the road to recovery :)

Mass Vaccinations in June

Probably one of the last few mass vaccinations at Farmway. We wish Ah Mei and all rescuers the best of luck with the move and settling in at The Animal Lodge.
