However, in a recent National Geographic article, the author of the "Rainbow Bridge" poem has finally been identified as Edna Clyne-Rekhy, an 82-year-old Scottish artist and animal lover. Her creation has undoubtedly brought solace to countless pet owners over the years. The diligent efforts of an art historian and author - Paul Koudounaris, have led to this significant discovery.
