Dear Donors, Brownie vet's bill came to $1195.65. We even have enough to purchase both her kibbles and Violet's aswell. Payment has been done.

All thanks to your kind and generous donations. We have some balance that we will use for her nx review, following Thursday. Review to see if her intestine is still very inflammed.

Brownie really looks so happy to be home. And i am double the happy to have her at home.

🤎 An Update on Beautiful Brownie.🤎

My dearest Brownie, is still twitching. Vet has already checked her ionised calcium and it seems to be normal. Perhaps it the General Weaknesses that may have cause the twitching.😞

Her intestines is still inflammed.
Infact the scan shows obvious loss of wall layering. Hazy layering.....it can be a very bad inflammation or worst senario, tumour that is causing changes to the area.😞

To get a clear and confirmed diagnosis on this, it requires biopsy, a little too invasive especially for Brownie. She is too old, down with Heart Murmur, Chronic Kidney Disease and Asthmatic. Brownie is too fragile for this procedures. The GA is already a BIG RISK and i decided not to proceed to get the biopsy done. I sincerely hope that, everyone will respect my decision.

What we can do is to continue with her antibiotic for another week or 2 and then another round of scanning. Hopefully this will help the inflammation to subside.
To also continue with the daily subcut and her inhaler.

If everything goes well, she will be ready to be discharged tomorrow. Alhamdulilah.

🤎 An Update on Dearest Beautiful Brownie.🤎

We visited Brownie earlier. We brought along her favourite bowls, wet food and also some treats.

She wasnt angry with me & she allowed me to sayang² her. 😞

● Yesterday i shared with her vet that i noticed she tends to lick her stomach region a lil too much and this is the 1st time ever that she do that. Im a lil concern. Vet felt a lump in her stomach region. Did a scan and it shows that there is a hernia. I will discuss further with her vet again on this issue.

● Pancreas doesnt seems so bad as of now. And she is also given pain killer to make her feel comfortable.

● Thru out our visit earlier, we noticed that Brownie is twitching quite a lot. I shared my concern with the vet. He monitored her about 10 mins, and he also do notice the twitching. They will monitor this twitching closely.
At times, this is caused by General Weaknesses in cats' body.😞

● Scan on her intestine; there is still inflammation going on. Infact, one part of them is rather thickened.
Hoping that with the IV antibiotic it will help to improve. The vet did mention that there is indeed loss of wall layering....this could be cause by a few factors, and one of it is stomach cancer. (Dash came to my mind immediately....😞 he left because of this.)

But for Brownie, we cant be sure as of now....they need to monitor Brownie there a few more days. She is still very unwell and is still very fierce at the same time when the nurses wanna check on her.

She did eat a little there. And i also offered her ciao treats. Ate a little only.

🤎 Update on Dearest Brownie. 🤎

Firstly, THANK YOU DONORS!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR HELPING BROWNIE AGAIN. 😞

We brought her to the vet earlier.
She is simply very unwell and the best options is to get her admitted again. 😞

Brownie got very super angry while she was being examined and that lead her to have asthma attack.😞
Vet had to stop all procedures and allow her to calm down 1st. Luckily we have her puffer in her carrier.
Actually hearing this, we realised that the past few days, everytime abang carried her up to the table to get her subcut done, she will cough a lil.

Hearing her screaming and then this, simply broke my heart. I felt like i have betrayed her & this made me feel so sad.😞

Brownie is indeed very vulnerable. We have to handle her very firmly yet at the same time be gentle. She is about 19 years old now, her bones are very brittle, her heart is very weak, down with CKD and she is asthmatic AND at the same time she is very fierce and hates to be handled.

With all the above mentioned, my love for her grow deeper. 😞

I received donations of about $1000 as of now. Her stay in the hospital may cost above $1000, plus minus. Im supposed to get the foodies and the prescription diet for Brownie( Renal ), Lhea (Gastro )& Violet( HypoAllegenic ). I opt not to get them at this current moment. My fear is Brownie's vet fee will go beyond what i have.😞

I have made Deposit of $500 to VetMedic.

Please do help me to share this post, in hoping that many more kind individual will help us with monetary donations to cover Brownie's vet bill & for us to be able to purchase the prescription diet kibbles for the girls.

I SINCERELY APPRECIATE THE HELP GIVEN BY ALL OF YOU.

Brownie ate a lil late last night. And the rest of the day she hides behind the tv set. Abang helps to monitor her all day long. Checking to ensure that she is breathing, she is not drooling and she doesnt look so stressful.

We will be bringing her to see her vet later in awhile.

If the donation we receive is enuf to cover her bill, we will at the same time use the balance amount to get the 3 girls foodies aswell.

Words is not enough for me to say how grateful i am for the help given by all of you, my regular donors.

All she did was lying down and looking at empty space the past few days. Eating but little. Walking to toilet or to find a comfortable space and then stay rooted there for hours. And this morning her vomiting starts again.

Please dont give up on Brownie yet. 😔

I was planning to put up an appeal for 🤎🧡💜 food and basic need appeal. Little did i know that i have to priortise Brownie's coming vet bill.

Our rescue fund is depleting as time goes by. We spent about $450 last week for both Brownie and Lhea's vet bill.

My dearest boy, Muezza, fell asleep at Brownie's favourite spot.

Princess Chanel all clean now.

Catsitting Day 8 for Wyn & friends.

Look at Brownie, she now knows when i call out to her name....she knows mamam time and she also knows time for subcut and inhaler...thats when she will hide under the tv rack.

Catsitting Day 1 for Ash and friends. Dinner settled. Bowls washed. Litter boxes cleaned. Basic cleaning done. Trash thrown.

I have to wait for abang to come home from school and help to remove Brownie's bandage. All done my dear girl.

Brownie has yet to get use to her inhaler. Still struggle and growl a little but overall she is a good girl. Yay for Brownie!!!

Pretty Princess Kiki. All clean and very fresh.

It took us a long time to get Brownie to get use to the subcut routine. And now....we have to get her to get use to the asthma chamber. She struggled...she tried to escape but she wasnt very angry. Just growling. Good girl Brownie!!! Do give Brownie some 🫰 ok.

There are things that i prefer to do for Brownie at home. Thou she is not easy....she is slightly calmer comparing to how she behaves at the vet. And yes...been a year that she is with us, she still hate being handled. You can only sayang² her on her forehead. Less than 5 mins. Not more.

Bringing Brownie to the vet is extremely STRESSFUL. Not to us but to her.😪 She was again so angry and so struggly. Hearing her screaming at the top of her lungs thru out her examination inside, always make me feel so sad and guilty. Haish....😔 Brought her home and she is still very angry. Angry with all her friends here.....she totally doesnt want any cats or even us near her. She hisses and will try to attack. Place her in her house to let her calm down. Usually after vet visit, we will not be able to give her subcut. She struggles a lot and will start screaming and this make the subcut procedures very dangerous. There she is in her carrier earlier at the vet.....growling all the way home.

Toffee, all clean now my dear Princess.
